Lighted Adjustable 15X Travel Mirror Compact in Blue Case
I found this on Amazon, but wanted to actually see it, Bath and Body has them and I bought one, it is totally awesome, found hairs I did not even know I had, very handy for travel which was why I bought it. The manufacturer encloses an order form for replacement bulbs which is great. highly recommend for travel or home use.
By looking at the product picture of this item (Lighted Adjustable 15X Travel Mirror), it is hard to realize its actual size. The unit is so compact, it fits in my palm when folded. The small size makes it suitable as a travel mirror. On the other hand, you also have to cope with its limitations:
1. The mirror is less than 4 inches in diameter. Combined with high magnification, it gives a very limited visible area. This means you can only examine a small region of your face at any one time. Plus you only have a working distance of 4-5 inches from the mirror.
2. The two miniature incandescent light bulbs are far from "super bright" as advertised. A set of four AAA alkaline cells (*) can only provide useable illumination for around 2-3 hours. It would be better if LED light sources were used.
In my particular case, I kept this compact mirror in my office in case of emergency "Do-It-Yourself eye surgery" (I have problems with inward growing eyelash). It has just the right size and magnification for this intended purpose. Over the past four years, it must have paid for itself ten times over. So for that I'm satisfied.
If you need something for daily usage at home, you should look for a magnified mirror with a diameter of at least 8 inches. I highly recommend the Daylight Fluorescent Lighted 10X Mirror, also made by Floxite.
(*) Footnote:The battery compartment accepts four AAA cells. But the cells are actually connected two-in-parallel, in order to double the operating time. A better solution is to power the lights with just two AAA rechargeable cells (see my Customer Image). The use of rechargeable batteries also prolongs the lifespan of light bulbs. I have not replaced the bulbs in over 4 years.

I was given this as a gift, but know it was purchased for under $25 at Bed, Bath, & Beyond. At first, I was totally satisfied.Small enough to bring out to kitchen or living room--wherever I wanted to use it at. The lighting and magnification were very good for getting at the facial stray hairs I wanted to remove.However, after about a month, the lights failed.I was good at always turning it off when done, so it didn't seem reasonable.But I thought, well, maybe left it on when I thought it was off, etc.But then it happened again.This time when I went to replace them, placing them in caused smoke!Sooo, that was it for me--trashed it.I went back to BBB to see if they had a comparable mirror and what caught my eye was the same model I just trashed was on the shelf in a resealed package.Hmmm, someone else thought it was not worth it and returned it????Read Best Reviews of Lighted Adjustable 15X Travel Mirror Compact in Blue Case Here
Bought this for travel.I use it for make-up and tweezing, I'm sure it would be good for contact lenses as well.Since I wear glasses for close-up, I really need the 15x magnification.And the light is needed because the lighting in hotel rooms is very rarely bright enough for this.It folds up into it's base, so the mirror is protected during travel another plus. So far I've taken it on a couple of trips and it doesn't seem to be fragile at all. It is a little thick, but worth it for the mirror size and the fold-up protection.It is too big for a purse (at least my purse), but I can't see a need to be carrying a light-up magnifying mirror in your purse.It is not a replacement for your close-up vanity mirror at home it's not as big as I'd want at home and it does not have an AC adapter (batteries only).For the purpose I needed, it's PERFECT and I'm very happy with it.
Also received it quickly, which made me happy for my upcoming trip.

I am at that age where all of the sudden 1) print everywhere seems really small and 2) hair is just popping out all over the place. This is a great help with the latter problem, in particular. The 15x magnification does take some getting used to -the mirror is much closer to my face than I was accustomed to with my 2x or 3x mirrors. It's been super-helpful in getting the grooming under control in this household.

The makers of this item market it several brands. It is absolute junk. The manufacturers and marketers should be ashamed of the build quality of it. I can't imagine anyone would sell it with a return policy or satisfaction guarantee. I have assembled a lot of cheap Chinese-made junk in my life but this item wins the poorest made hands down.

Champion Sports Tie-On Table Tennis Net and Post Set
This net is just what I was looking for.It replaces one just like it that our family had for many years. It is a good quality net and I like the ability to adjust the tautness of the net.
I bought this ping pong net for a basic, no frills ping pong table, at a summer house. In other words, the table gets abused, and we go through a lot of nets.This is a basic no frills net.It doesn't even seem to have strings through the casing top or bottom to adjust the tension.Just a plastic top and bottom.I don't expect it to last.But a plus to this net is that the C-clamp part of the simple metal clamp is deep enough that it goes around the edge of my particular table, which has a pretty deep apron.I have had limited success finding a deep enough clamp in the past.What I don't understand is why the net is several inches longer than the distance between the clamps, when they are as far out as they go. Instead of stringing the net across from clamp to clamp across the table. I have to wrap it around the clamps to use up several extra inches of length.Can anyone reading this who knpws more about ping pong tables than I do tell me whether this is normal?I was expecting to stretch it across more like a badminton net, with the strings going through the holes.Am I doing something wrong?

I had expected the net would be tight when set up; however, it's tricky to get the net to stand up completely straight. It tends to sag and buckle a bit in areas. If I had seen that image first, I would not have purchased this toy for a 4 year old.
After I ordered from MegaHobby and went 3 weeks with no response or product I ordered from the other carrier of this product and got it within a week.
It is a fairly entertaining toy, my grandson had fun with it.

My daughter adores this Grover toy.I don't know why it says it has small parts, unless they're afraid that the eyes and the nose might come off?But the toy seems pretty durable to me.I love the blue color and the softness of the fur.It's gotten a lot of mileage.And although they claim that it is only surface washable, I've thrown it in my front-loading washing machine and dryer (medium setting) and it came out as good as new.

Gund has excellent quality, and though it did not come in a box (really my only complaint) Grover is definely the softest stuff animal I have ever come along minus Big Bird who was just a little softer, it's tied with Elmo. I bought almost all the main characters for Christmas for my daughter and when we watch Sesame Street they are alot of fun to play along with, even for adults. DC Heroclix Watchmen 2011 Fast Forces Deluxe Starter Game Includes 6 Figures
For Heroclix players the 2011 Watchmen set is not necessarily going to win you any tournaments unless you know what you're doing.The majority of the pieces are extremely cheap, and give you a decent team for about 400 points.They cover about all of the main abilities, and Night Owl's carry ability (he can basically carry your entire Watchmen team into battle using Archie) gives you a decent edge when you need to quickly swarm your opponents or get the heck out of dodge.The "zen" manhattan (zenhattan?) is reasonably powerful, but slightly expensive at 150 points.The biggest downside is that most of the pieces have relatively low defense values making them easy to hit.Like most modern clix, the sculpts are pretty good.They are true to the movie characters and look good on a shelf.Some of the pieces have thin legs attached to the base, but after using them for a few times I haven't had any problems with breakage (I have had a problem with breakage with similarly thin pieces).
For fans of the comics or the game series these pieces give you an opportunity to pick up a handful of fun figures for a low cost.If you are new to the series there are fast forces sets that will give you more powerful teams, but this set gives you a lot of team prospects for a fair introduction to the game.
I would think Dr. Manhattan would have a little more oomph, but honestly, I had a great time.
