Child's Activity Table

We received this table with a small split in the wood due to a machine over-tightening a screw. But doesn't cause instability. This table is nice, sturdy and has deep side-pockets. Our daughter likes this table very much and it compliments her room. I can safely safe this is the ideal table for any young kid. I don't see how anyone could be disappointed with this table. It isn't Pottery Barn junk or anything similar. Also, Tag Toys will include a nice catalog of their other products. They have a lot of nice well-built stuff for all ages. A little pricey but better than average products. Thanks for the great table, Tag Toys!

We absolutely love this activity table. My child is almost 3 and stands to play at the table all the time, mostly creating little cities filled with lego towers, trains, and farm animals. We've had it for about 3 weeks, and seems very durable so far. Pen and markers wipe right off the surface. The little storage spots all around are perfect for putting away toys so that they are still visible. When my infant starts to pull himself up, it will be safe since the corners are rounded and there are no sharp edges. Assembly was a cinch, it only took about 5 minutes, and it came with all the necessary parts. I was hesitant because the description mentions that the table weighs 70 pounds. This can't be true I'd bet it actually weighs half that. The only complaint is that it seems they used 70 pounds as the shipping weight, and it cost $50 to ship it. But it seems worth it because I think the table will last for several years, and looks nice with our living room furniture. I can't wait to buy other TAG toys and the sensory table for upcoming birthdays.

Who knew a table would be exciting for a 3 year old?I gave this table to my Grandson for Christmas, and it turned out to be a big hit.He piles his legos on it, and has fun making little cities and imaginary farms.The table is at the right level for him to play while standing up.

It is very sturdy; his little one year old brother uses it to prop himself up, and I have no fear that the table will topple over.The open slots at the sides of the table hold his toys; his Mother purchased small plastic boxes that fit nicely, and can be pulled out easily.The table itself is made out of solid wood, and has a nice white smooth laminate on top.

I am thrilled that my Grandson uses and likes this table as much as he does.

My husband and I bought this table for my 18 month old daughter. She loves it! She gets very busy placing blocks in and out of the cubby holes and spends hours around it. Durability is excellent. We expected something very flimsy and cheap.We were pleasantly surprised. I would recommend it to anyone with a toddler.

I read the reviews. I was hoping Id beat the odds and just LOVE it. Its very small. The swing didnt swing right due to the straps being too long, i had to custom fix it. The crib keeps popping apart so i super glue it. Otherwise i mean its cute. Made with very thin plastic. It arrived In only 2 days after ordering. But My daughter loves it, so i guess its all okay. I wouldnt tell anyone to order.

I bought this last year for my little girl and it was very difficult to assemble. In fact, I dont think we ever got it put together right because the plastic did not fit together right.As soon as we got it together, a piece would fall apart. It never stayed together. I ended up giving it away.Very un-sturdy! Not worth he money at all. Please don't waste your money like I did.

My 5 yr. old grandaughter spied this on Amazon while we were looking for a sturdy doll swing. She loved the way it looked as pink princess things attract her. It was very difficlt to assemble, locking plastic pieces did not fit well and were so hard to snap in. It still falls apart every time she plays with it even after my husband snapped it together.. I considered sending it back, but for the price it wasn't worth the aggravation. I strongly urge anyone to stay away from this toy. She is geltle with it, but a younger child would collapse it on the first use. It is also very much smaller than we imagined it to be. Only smaller dolls could use it.

I order this for my daughter for christmas and my husband went ahead and put it together so we could see if we liked it and if it was good enough for a santa gift its really cute and looks just like the pink seems to be sturdy enough for my daughter to play with but it is just plastic!!!!

My mother and bought this for my daughter for Christmas last year.This thing is always falling apart and just is an awful toy.I finally took it out of the play room and I asked my husband if I should bring it to the resale shop and he said "I wouldnt wish that toy on anyone".For the price you can find something much, Much better!

Although at first these blocks seem really neat, we quickly found that they are very hard to put together and they easily fall apart.We tried to make some of the pictures, which led to frustration for both me and my almost five year old daughter.

This product is very disappointing.The pieces are hard to put together and do not stay together very well.I even have a difficult time with them.I intend to throw them away as soon as I purchase some bristle blocks to replace them with.

I agree with the other reviewers, that these are hard to put together.I have trouble.However, my two year old (never while I am looking, mind you), comes to me with these creations that she has some how assembled."Look at my helicopter, mama!" and so on.So, my conclusion is that it just maybe takes a little patience and the right sort of touch to get it.We haven't had any trouble with them falling apart, but my little gal is not making any huge structures either.We only have the small set (not this one) and I feel so positive about them that I have been searching Amazon for a couple of months now (not remembering what they were called) in order to buy some more.Finally, I found them!Clipo!

How they expected a child to build anything with these is beyond me!

They do NOT stay together and are very cheaply made. The plastic is thin and flimsy!

The concept is great but you need to invest in Bristle Blocks. They are much more fun, durable and easier to build with.

It DOES interact with the TV, for example in the "animal abc" game, the animals only change when you hit a key. It is a little slow, and I am not sure my 1yr old is seeing the cause and effect either. The cause and effect she does see is when she pushes the buttons on the sensor!

However the music part is great and she LOVES that. She plays and dances and has a great time.

The only real disadvantage is that it is easy to tip over. Now, she does have to intentionally push it, but she's a toddler, so what do you think she is going to do? And she then either gets it pulled back up but hits herself in the head OR she can't get it back up. (Depending on how and where it falls.) So you can imagine how frustrating it is for her. (Oh my! She just picked it up!)I wish it was heavier so she couldn't lift or tilt it.

I have similar issues with other Fisher Price toys. For some reason they can't figure out how to make a toy that doesn't tip. I usually find a way to modify the toy to make it more stable. If I find a way for this one, I will post it.

Firstly, I think it is important to state that I have only had this item for lest than a week. I will most likely add to my review after some time has passed.

My initial impression though is a good one. I bought this for my 10 month old son, so that he would have a fun toy to stand up and play with. The keyboard is of great quality, and the three other play buttons along the top are fun for him as well.

The only downside is that the interactive part of the toy that you plug into the TV is currently useless for us. The software is too slow, so there is a delay that currently makes it too difficult for my son to understand that there is any cause and effect happening. He much prefers it in either of the other two keyboard modes, so that he can hear sounds when he hits the keys.

Perhaps as he grows older we will find that the interactive part of the toy becomes usable, but as for now we will just enjoy making sweet music on the keyboard itself.

We took this toy out of the box and had it up and running in five minutes. Our intention was for our 11 month son to practice standing, but also have something lean on if needed. He loves our real piano, so we thought it would be perfect.

It is solidly built, and has great sound when used in stand-alone mode. Keeps my little guy interested for quite a while. The tv interaction has very smooth and almost un-noticeable transitions. For example the color keys will change the background color of the screen, while the animation stays the same.

However, my 3 year old daughter noticed immediately how the keys changed the colors, and she could change the animations using the trumpet slide or guitar roller to make slight changes in the animations and music. I had a hard time keeping her away from it so that my son could use it!

I had to put some strips of velcro on the rear legs, because when used in the upright settiing, it tends to slide all over the floor and my little guy would topple over. It surprises me that they diddnt think of this. After that slight modification it has worked hours without any incident.

My son is 15 months old and can run the remote for the TV, but this game does not hold his attention at all. He likes the keyboard, but the interactivity is so slow that he is bored with it before it is done loading. He is more entertained by manipulating the console, because that has a cause and effect. The actual games are useless. At first, I just thought it was broken because nothing seemed to be happening when you hit the keyboards, but no, it was just really slow. First it sits at the loading screen for at least 30 seconds. Then, after loading it just shows you a picture of some shape or animal. That's it. 30 seconds after that, you get to the 'game.' But you have to wait some more for it do anything. And then, after hitting the button, there is enough of a lag before anything happens, that my son is already off doing something else. All in all: FAIL.

For some reason I thought I was getting a 3/4" wood top table, but was a little surprised to get some sort of plastic top. Apparently this is an outdoor table. With several young children I decided that it wasn't all bad especially since I was 2 hours into a 3 hour assembly process. There isn't quite the same soft tapping there is with a wood table, but it is considerably lighter and cups left on the table won't raise wood rings.

The undercarriage is as solid as I can imagine a 190 lb. table can provide, but the table sways when 5-year old children lean against it. While I wouldn't want to repeat the assembly process, the end result was worth it and our whole family played (or began learning to play). The paddle and ball holders in the center are really handy.

We just got this table from another vendor and finished assembling it today.It was actually the second table we received, because the first was damaged in shipping.This one arrived in perfect shape, and we lost no time unpacking it and diving into the assembly process.First of all, it's a very heavy table--around 190 lbs., at least in the box--and they aren't kidding when they say you need two (strong) people to assemble it.From start to finish, including about 20 minutes I spent on the Internet trying to clarify a particular step in the instructions, I estimate it took 8 hours to assemble.If you're like me, you probably don't have two 10mm and two 19mm wrenches on hand.I used our two (large) adjustable wrenches for most of the assembly process, and that was a mistake.Do yourself a favor and go buy at least the two 10mm ones (small, if possible)--which are used for almost everything--at a hardware or home improvement store.I finally ended up getting a couple of them for about $13 total--well worth the money.Had I had them at the beginning, I probably would have saved two hours of assembly time.Next, the assembly instructions, though complicated, are fairly good--if you're used to assembling complex pieces from IKEA or other stores, you should be able to deal with this.But you have to be careful--there are more than 200 pieces (yes, 200), and some of the drawings are quite subtle.The one place you have to be especially careful is the very first step ("A"), when you position the two end pieces (piece number "8") as you're building the supporting structure.These can either face one way or the other, and the drawing isn't clear.I couldn't find the answer on line either, even by looking at zoomed-in photos of the table.If you make a mistake here, you'll end up having to spend a huge amount of time taking things apart again and redoing them.Basically, the two smooth sides of the crossbar should face out, not in toward the center; the "open" crossbar sides should face inward.If you look closely at the drawing, you'll see that that's what the manufacturer tried to indicate, but a few words (rather than just hieroglyphics) would have helped.There are a few other places in the manual where you'll have to use common sense, but they're not too tricky.Again, just proceed very slowly and carefully.When it comes time to lift the table tops into the supporting structure, it really, really helps to have a third person--even a kid.The picture shows two people holding one table top with one hand each, using the other hand to insert the bolts that will support the top, but you try holding a huge 80-90 lb. table half with one hand!Not realistic.Anyway, to make a long story short, we finally finished assembling the table, and it looks great and seems to work very well.I'll update this if I have anything new to report after we've used it a while.In the meantime, just remember:get two cheap (and small) 10mm wrenches, go slowly, and make sure you have at least two strong people!

For the money I paid for this table I have no complaints.

This isn't a competition level table but its not a cheapy either. The blue color is really nice.

Try this Cream of Mushroom soup recipe from volume 2

4 c. sliced mushrooms

¾ c. creamy butter

1-1¼ c. flour

½ tsp. coarse ground pepper

2 tbsp. granulated chicken bouillon

8 c. 2% milk

1 pt. heavy cream

4 fresh green onions

Take 1 c. of sliced mushrooms and set aside. In a large soup pot melt ¼ c. of butter, dice 3 c. of mushrooms and sauté until mushrooms darken in color. Add remaining ½ c. of butter, fold in flour, pepper and bouillon, creating a roux. Scorch the roux to deepen the flavor stirring constantly on medium heat.

Slowly fold in with a whisk the cream and milk to desired consistency. Soup will thicken as it cooks. To thin down soup fold in more milk. Add half of the diced green onions. In a separate pan sauté 1 c. of sliced mushrooms to use as a garnish. When ready to serve, top with sautéed mushroom slices and diced green onions. Helpful Hint: To reheat soup make sure not to bring to a boil or the soup will separate.

Fawn Cuddlekin 12" by Wild Republic

This plush by Wild Republic (Cuddlekin) is very soft, well made, highly detailed and generally a nice plush. Dispite the small size she's made in a very huggable and cuddly shape. I was very pleasantly surprised.They are extremely sturdy, fairly heavy for the size, and beautiful bold colors/graphics.Can't go wrong with this fantastic set.

This table is nice because it is wood, instead of plastic and metal. My toddler loves it, but one of the table legs has loosened and stripped out where the leg screws into the table. We have glued it several times but it is still loose. The chairs have been durable and we have had the set for over a year now. Some of the paint on the top has chipped from being cleaned a lot.

I purchased this table & chairs set as a birthday present for my grandson.I thought he'd use it for play.Well as it turns out, he loves it and wants to eat all of his meals at it which has greatly reduced mealtime battles and brought some peace and quiet to mealtime for his mom and dad.

All the surfaces with the pictures on are very durable and were in excellent condition.A leg or two had some blue paint missing or scratched off, but that was really no big deal to me.If need be, the legs can be easily unscrewed and repainted, which may be necessary in time, given the great amount of use this set will get.Great item!

Arcade Alley Space Adventure Electronic Pinball

Just as the other reviews stated, this game works well out of the box (just need batteries for scoring) and kept my kids entertained for hours, but the score will occasionally reset to zero for no apparent reason. It is also very loud, and has no volume control. I don't regret the purchase, but it is a toy my kids aren't allowed to play with where parents have to endure it. :)
