I bought in on this unique idea and bought this kit and the World of Bugs kit for my 7 year old nephew's birthday.Talk about a disappoint product...This was a pain to put together, many of the pieces didn't fit quite right and finished products only vaguely resemble your original design idea.Many people have compared this to Lego and Lite Bright mixed together... That's only partially correct because I KNOW that Lego pieces will connect EVERY TIME... I sometimes had to try 3 or 4 different pieces of the same shape before I found a piece that I didn't have to force-connect.

It would have been neat if there was more of a 'play' factor to these (my nephew loves to make his Lego Star Wars ships fly after putting them together).The finished laser pegs constructs were so rickety that I thought the entire design was going to fall apart.

Instead of spending a grand total of $160 on laser pegs, I wish I would have spent that much on Legos...

My wife works in a toy store and has sold many of these lite board kits.Unfortunately, she has seen returns of these toys with customers complaining of electrical smells, melted pieces, and smoke.There seems to be a good idea in using light to create structures, but the implementation is a bit off.It is a bit complicated for younger children (under 5).The pegs crack and break easily.Seems like it was made for an adult to assemble, not the kids it was purchased for.

Overall I cannot recommend this product. The manufacturer needs to improve the design to increase durability.

We bought this set as a Christmas present last year, and before the warranty expired, we had to have several pegs replaced that either were dead-on-arrival or broke.It has been less than one year, and several more pieces have stopped working, the lights are getting very dim, and you have to wiggle the connections just right to make them light up.Since we use the power cord, it's not an issue with batteries, and the set has not been handled roughly.It frustrates my kids that it doesn't really work now.While it was a fun toy that could entertain my kids for a long time, it just didn't last as long as I expected for the price that we paid. --Updated: after contacting the Laser Pegs customer service, they sent a new base without any hassles and it solved the problem.At least they are standing behind their product!

My son received this from his grandmother for Christmas.We were excited when he unwrapped the gift and that is when the excitement ended.He immediately opened the box and we realized how small it was for $100 we moved it aside with the intent to return.Little did we know through Amazon we could not return it because he opened the box.So we tried to make the best of it and hoped even though we expected something larger in size for the money it would pack the fun in a small package.We were wrong there also.The quality of the pieces are really poor.Many don't work or lock in place as they are supposed to.The instructions show different items you should be able to build with the pieces provided...guess they left some pieces out of our set because we can't build several items.I feel like we received a cheap $19.99 item off an infomercial but we paid $100 for it.Don't buy this product unless you are ready for disappointment.

Picked this up for my then 8 year old daughter last year (2011) for xmas. She loved playing with Barbies and had this on her very long and specific xmas list (lol). The bed is cute. this pony has proved (along with the Princess Promenade) to be one of the most popular of the my little pony's we have bought. It comes with a pink skirt, a pink crown and high heel shoes. The most popular item was the dressing table with revolving mirror and after several months it still hasn't broken despite harsh treatemnt. The pony is white with silver strands through the mane and tail. It was very pretty but the rough treatment really does make the mane matted very quickly. Also, think about getting white pony's very seriously for younger children, While the coloured ones can be drawn on with pen and the stains wiped off and at least partly concealed on white ponys it is impossible to hide. For the younger ones (3 year olds) it is hard to get them not to at first. Desert Rose was very pretty but is now a bit stained and sorry looking. Never the less she is integral in my children's games still which is nice. One of the more popular ponies we have bought. Generally very hard wearing, including the accessories, the only item which has been broken is the crown which didn't last it was too thin and got badly bent early on.

I love this concept and most of the parts of this are very well-made, but the wheel itself is made of a cheap-feeling molded plastic, perhaps to make it light-weight. The stand and front magnet plate are very sturdy, as are the plastic faces for the wedges.

It was very easy to put together and includes a nice printable sticker for the center magnet plate.

I recommend using the included template to trace the wedge shape onto cardstock and lengthening the pointier end. If you make the wedges the size of the template on printer paper, they flop around. A longer wedge (turn it sideways on 8 1/2 x 11 sheet) on sturdier paper fixes that in no time.

One of the flippers is incredibly loud, great for a big space. I like it, but perhaps it wouldn't work inside with a few people.

I use this at a large attraction (education department at a zoo) and I just love it. We use it for games and educational lessons as an interactive. Everyone loves spinning the prize wheel.

Wooden Shuffle Board with Miniature Bowling - 48-3/4 Long x 12-3/4 Wide

The outside frame was loose when I got it, I had to glue and clamp it.

The underside frame was loose and the nails were sticking out, I had to glue and clamp it.

Surface is warped.

All I wanted was a small shuffle/bowling game for the kids, but i guess quality is too much to ask for these days.

This is a really good sturdy shuffle board. The pucks move across really well and I couldn't ask for anything more. You won't regret it. Not sure why the other guy bad review, maybe his broke in the shipping, but mine was perfect.

Graco Portland Combo Dresser

The product is ok. It was fairly easy to assemble. The finish seems to mark easily. The item we received was slightly damaged. A piece of trim, normally stapled on, had come off. We were able to nail and glue the part back into place without there being an obvious repair. Since the damage was minor and we did not discover it until the product was nearly assembled we did not bother to return it.

I purchased this product because I had bought the matching crib. The finish is nearly identical to that of the crib and the set looks good in the nursery.

UPDATEa few months after we starting using the dresser the handles started to pull off and have to be glued on. The drawers will not slide well if pulled slightly crooked. Also beware of dragging the dresser along light colored carpet as it will mark the carpet. Its still a functional dresser but I wouldn't buy it again unless there was a very good sale. Otherwise spend the money on something of higher quality.

We just bought this dresser for our new baby's nursery. I am really happy that I found the $145 deal on it here. The reviews were not so good, so i was almost not going to buy it. However, most furniture pieces have terrible reviews.. so i just decided to go for it. Glad I did. The dresser arrived in 2-days, thanks to Amazon Prime. The box was in good condition. It is a huge and heavy box!! 122lbs. Last night i got the pieces out of the box and looked them over. There was one piece that was cracked. It was the front frame piece which had a chunk cracked off the top corner. At first it looked like the piece was missing and I'd have to mail it back. Luckily we found the cracked off piece in the box and it was from the bottom corner, which isnt easily seen. After looking over the rest of the pieces, everything else was in top shape and the packaging was very well done. The part that was cracked off was next to the outer box. The instructions were in a little box that also had the hardware in it. All the hardware was labelled and the instructions were thorough and easy to understand. After i got all the pieces out i looked at the instructions to identify everything. Only one piece is labelled, but the pictures in the instructions make it easy to tell what is what. Today my husband and I put it together. I did the drawers, which are pretty sturdy.. and would have been better had I not forgot to screw in the support piece that goes under each drawer bottom. Ooops! I put the support in backwards 2/3 drawers so i could only fix one. They seem sturdy enough without it anyway. The quality of the wood is great all around. The only pieces that are cheap are the drawer bottoms and back piece,those are dense fiber board. It does the job fine and looks great though. None of the screws are visible which is great. They are all discretely placed so the end product looks fantastic. After reading the directions a few times it was very clear how to put it together. My husband used his electric handheld drill with a allen wrench bit on it, which made it go together very quickly. All the pieces fit together without any problems. The color is a nice bright white.. which is great! Other reviews complained that it is a short dresser. It is 29.5 inches tall. It looks like a nice normal dresser height to me. It is also a child's dresser, which makes sense for their height. I plan to put a changing pad on top and it will be a perfect height for me, i'm 5'3. We were able to easily glue on the cracked piece as we put the frame together. If i get down on all fours and look I'll see the crack line.. by the way, the cracked piece was about 2 inches long. I put some touch up paint on the seam which now it would be hard to notice. It wasnt a big deal and i'm so happy that i saved lots of money buying this dresser. I also like the design. The dresser is raised up on four blocky looking feet, which add character. It even comes with a kit to attach it to the wall, to prevent a child from getting hurt climbing it. Haven't done that yet, not til we decide where it is going for sure. There is also a removable shelf inside the cabinet. There are 3 height settings for it. The cabinet closes fine.. i just have to pull up slightly on it so it touches the magnet and stays closed. Bottom line, the other reviews almost scared me off, but i'm glad i got it and i hope you'll consider it because it really is a good one. Oh and there is a warranty on it and easy to find report sheet for damaged parts, phone numbers, and fax numbers. Glad I didnt have to use it!!

Bought this dresser even though some people rated it low.It did take sometime to put together as the instructions are not written very well in English.You can tell there are some things that just get lost in translation.Very sturdy and feel safe when my child is born changing him on this dresser.I thought the inside of the drawers were going to be an issue, but there is enough reenforcement and support that I am not concerned at all.The side door did not want to connect to the magnet at first and thought I would have to replace the piece.The dresser settled and the magnet and metal clip now connect.I guess it just needed to sit for a day or two to settle into place.I did change out the hardware for the handles, as I did not like the look of the wood color.Bought a set of pewter finished knobs at my local Target for under $20.Best thing about this was I got free shipping to my house.I was originally going to buy this dresser through WalMart but they were out of stock.Bough this dresser in espresso to go with the Lauren espresso bed frame and it a matches perfect!!!I would recommend this dresser for someone on a budget who realizes that the dresser will have to be replaced several years down the road.No dents,dings,or scratches when it was delivered.

Purchased to go with the Graco crib. The speed of the Shipping was great as it arrived within three days of ordering.Style of the dresser is really cute and goes well with the Lauren crib we purchased. Quality and assembly was horrible!!!Assembly of the product was a nighmare. Way to complex and the parts did not fit together correctly. The drawer fronts were all warped, drawer bottoms didnt fit correctly into the drawer back, and the shelf was to big to fit correctly. Also not until the product was fully assembled did we notice that there was a huge dent in the top of the dresser. NOT WORTH THE MONEY!

Handpainted Mushroom Table and Set of 4 Stools Special

I can't imagine more dreamy set for my child. She had her heart set on it

for a long while but the set is bit pricy so It took me a while to finally go ahead and order it. When it came it was like an instant fairytale out of the box.

The table comes in one box with the steam. I think that the name is bit misleading

as the name implied lightweight.. I personally would not like it if it was light waight as I would fear the balance issues since it should support the children as far as the stools and the table should have some substance to s upport seating at it and having something on it. Apparently it is just the right weight and so it is very sturdy and very well balanced.

The light weight part is the top it is sort of hollow inside so you hear echo as you tap on it however it is very strongly made and it does not seem cheap or thin. It is solid and seem to be enforced within.

Now the steam is very solid and heavy, I don't know what is the material used but

it resembles the plaster in weight, it is probably different material but it has the weight of plaster.

So when you put your set outside you don't fear that kids will just swing and fall of it or on it. The stools are solid, the table is not topple prone and so it is perfect.

The way they finished it gorgeous. The table leg is totally mashroom leg, with the texture and painting allt he way up to the top that if you look underneath it looks totally all the way up as the mashroom leg. On the bottom of the leg you see detailing like grass and even little butterflies!!! how cute is that.

The stools are finished in the same fashion however don't have the grass or butterflies which is okay as it would be too much if you ask me.

The tops of the chairs and the table are consistently the same. The white patches

are gorgeous, they are sort of like "embeded" in the surface" they seem painted individually and with extreme care.

The hole set appears to be indeed hand painted and you can totally tell.

The red on the top mashrooms is beautiful and rich and intense and classy.

To assemble it all it took me was to take two pieces of the box: top of the table and leg and put the top on the leg and twist it few times and it was ready. It screws on the leg like top on the jar. There is a pipe in the stool that sticks out about half inch?? or an inch and the top has the other part to go with it so you just screw it with one easy motin round and round till it stops. No screws, nothing to break or loose.

Ideal.

The weight I was able to carry the table once assambled without any effort wherever I wanted. It is bit heavy but not like you struggle with it, It is like good heavy. Solid and supportive. The stools are easy to carry around just as well.

oh and I had no idea that the company I was ordering from is part of Plow and Hearth and that is another plus as they are just so great when it comes to their products, always have the best selection and always have solid items.

Only thing to be careful when you order make sure that what you order is what you need they have few different listings and one is for just the table, another for table with two stools and another with table and four.. and yet another for just two stools, I think that it is bit confusing as some titles are not in line with description so if you want' to avoid dissapointment read the listings very carefully as they are bit confusing. So if you want table and stools, and not to end up with just the table, look carefully at all listings and even contact the seller to make sure which one is which. The table and stool set is absolutely perfect, however our table arrived first and we had not stools yet so my daughter however dissapointed that the stools are not here yet was using it with her little Pottery barn's table white chairs and they worked as well and looked cute.

Lastly.. it worked fabulous when inside and it is absolutely perfect for outside.

I gave this set 5 stars and I would give more if I could, I think it deserves 10 stars easily! Beautuful and dreamy.

Fisher-Price Big Discoveries Table

This toy is easy to assemble, battery free, and loved by my 15 month old and her 2 year old cousin.Our baby loves the stacking rings, but is especially happy about the slot feature. The slot is also a favorite of the 2 year old. My child has never gotten her fingers stuck in the slot, as mentioned in a previous review, but I can see how it could happen.

On a side note, we bought this table to encourage our baby to stand and play in the hopes that standing play would encourage walking.It seems to have worked.

I bought this table for my 13 month old.The rings in the center that you push down into the slot are dangerous.When the child has to push down onthe ring there is to much resistance and there fingers get hurt because there little hands go around the ring and go down into the slot with it. I called fisher price to inform them of the danger but I see its still on the market.Don't buy.

I ordered this toy & received it 2 days later! Table is VERY EASY to put together. My 9 1/2 month old daughter LOVES this table. She is beginning to cruise & trying to walk & this table is small in height for her to grasp onto..I also like the fact that the legs are a bit wider so it gives the table more support/sturdiness. My daughter played with another similar play table that belongs to her 2 yr old cousin by Playskool & this one is so much better! The other table's legs are more narrow & whenever she leans a bit on it the table would move (even on carpet). This Big Discoveries Table does move a bit if the child puts all their weight on it but just keep an eye out for the baby. My daughter plays with the beads & rings that come with it. She doesn't know how to place the shape or stack the rings yet but maybe in a couple of months. Overall, I think this is a good toy if you want to help your baby learn to stand & be more comfortable walking/crusing a bit.

Thomas And Friends Wooden Railway - 2 in 1 Playboard

We bought this playboard to replace our previous playboard that had endured almost 10 years of abuse. It was intended for our 2yr old son who wasn't old enough to build the tracks himself and because I was getting weary from constantly fixing whatever layout we built for him. The idea of the pregrooved track side is brilliant. This board fit nicely into the older Thomas the Tank table and was a great way to refresh the older table. Sadly, this is the extent of the positive things I have to say. This playboard is turning out to be a great disappointment.

This board is made of paper covered particle board. My old board was also made of particle board, but had some serious lamination to protect if from some moisture and to endure train play. Depsite my no food/liquid rule, a sippy cup was set down on it and the table now has a unsightly moisture blister. A sticker was stuck on it, and when I removed it, part of the scenery came off! My older board better endured normal stuff like this all the time.

It arrives from the manufacturer in two separate pieces. I'm sure this helps reduce the cost of shipping. Since there are grooves for tracks on one side, if they are not aligned perfectly, the trains, especially the motorized Thomas trains, get stuck.

This board is only about 5/8" thick. Especially since one side is grooved, its too flimsy.

What an overall disappointment. It seems like in an effort to meet the pricepoint, Learning Curve has really sacrificed the quality that we've come to expect from the Thomas Wooden line. Like the other reviewer, I am SO glad I didn't pay the full $99. However, I would have been willing to pay the full price if I were to be guaranteed a better product. We have had it for 6 months now and it is already showing a lot of wear. My son is actually on the calmer side when it comes to train play. Nonetheless, I do not anticipate that this will still look pretty in a year.

We sent this back immediately as it was obviously very poor quality. The board is in two pieces to save shipping costs but the two pieces don't fit together properly and this means that track for the trains does not line up. I am surprised that the Thomas organization is willing to have their brand on such a low quality product.

I really debated whether to buy this board with two sides and the track grooves, but two halves, or the one-piece board with only one side and no grooves. Opted for this one and I'm very disappointed in the quality. Should have listened to the other reviewers. The two halves do not align at all, and if you line up the two pieces so the tracks match, the other features (buildings, bodies of water, roads) do not match. The two sides are even different colors, like it's a mismatched set. We will be returning this and sticking with the board that came with our Nilo table.

We put this and the table on our Amazon Wish List because it's honestly something in a price range that wasn't in our budget.We have come to expect high quality from Thomas wooden train sets.

It has two sides as mentioned, which makes it more fun.We have several different sized Thomas and Friends trains...wooden, TrackMaster, Take and Play, and Mega Blocks.The Take and Play trains are too small, but the wooden and TrackMaster trains fit.The TrackMaster motorized trains will only go around the outside track while motorized and can't corner the tight corners if you start it off on the inside tracks.Of course, they aren't meant for this board, so that's not really all that important.

The boards fit easily into the table but not snugly, so there is a little bit of give if you move it.That give means that sometimes the two boards don't align perfectly and our three year old has problems crossing from one board to the other.There are many different ways that we can address this including inserting a small piece of wood along the side to keep it snug, so this really isn't a problem.

Both sides are vividly colorful and help us narrate tales of Sodor for our son.The flat side allows us to do a lot with the table outside of putting his wooden sets there.And, thankfully, all of his various wooden engines get parked along the sidelines and not all over my house (happy mom).

We already have a small scratch on the board so the durability / finish isn't spectacular, so we are hoping that it doesn't show too much wear as the resale value of these tables is extremely high (board and table set never go for less than $100 in our area on Craigslist).It doesn't seem worth the price, but then again, all of the Thomas wooden train elements are prohibitive!

We bought this vanity to replace a less durable plastic vanity.The perfect aged girl for this vanity is 3-5 years.Our daughter is 6 and although she is using it (for play and as a table to do her schoolwork) she will probably outgrow it after the summer.Durable construction and nice decorative work.It was easy to put together too.I really like the chair because it is a real chair and not a bench.The built in jewelry boxes which are on the vanity are a great idea because they won't fall off!Overall we are happy with our purchase!

This is the best quality product I have seen in a long time.The detail is beautiful and it was so easy to put together.The only flaw is that there is no detail on the back of the chair.So when the chair is placed neatly under the table the back of the chair is plain.Not a deal breaker, but it would have made this set the cutest on the planet.

Anna is almost five and I didn't want her to miss the enchantment of pretending to be a little princess while she is young. Her parents tell me that she has great time with her make up table when her best friend comes to visit. Earlier, she kept telling me that she didn't have a make up table and I am sure she will use this table to do her homework, etc when she starts school. Gund Winky Lamb with Blankie-Blue

I did not receive the "Winky" Lamb, I actually got "Lena Lamb", but they are so similar that I decided to just keep it instead of dealing with returning it.The face is slightly different, with open eyes instead of closed, but otherwise it is pretty much the same. Not a huge deal because my son is only 6 months old and won't notice it, but may be an issue with an older child that you need the EXACT lovie for. So double check it before you rip all the tags off if this will be a problem!

That said, my son loves his Lamby and sleeps with it every night. It is very soft and the quality is good. We don't really use the prayer aspect, but it seems sufficient for what it is.

It is just as pictured and the volume of the recording of the children bedtime prayer is low, but OK for what it is.
