This lamp is small and the regular light is dim enough to keep on as a night light. The color changing setting is a bit annoying but to each his own. The light in it is LED so you don't have to buy bulbs and when you turn it off, even if the light is dimming a bit, it seems to almost recharge its self because it's just as bright when you turn it back on. Over all I think this is a wonderful lamp for a nursery or child s room.

Got this lamp a month ago. There are 2 modes for this lamp. A steady led mode and a flashing led mode with various colors. we have been using this night light in the steady led mode for a month. now it has stopped working. Not very reliable.
