Just as the other reviews stated, this game works well out of the box (just need batteries for scoring) and kept my kids entertained for hours, but the score will occasionally reset to zero for no apparent reason. It is also very loud, and has no volume control. I don't regret the purchase, but it is a toy my kids aren't allowed to play with where parents have to endure it. :)
