Gund Karina 10.5" Labradoodle Plush

I purchased this stuffed dog for my terminally ill dad who was in the hospital for almost a month. The stuffed dog looked like our multsipoo that my dad adores and I thought it'd be nice to get him a stuffed dog that resembles him to put by his bed in the hospital and remind him of home and the dog he loves. Unfortunately I was rather disappointed when the stuffed dog arrived in the mail. It was a lot smaller than I'd expected and it was what I'd call "grungy" looking. The hair on the stuffed dog was all matted and scraggly and pieces were falling out. It looked poorly made. To say the least I was really disappointed; not just because I'd spent $17 but because I was really hoping to bring a little comfort to my very sick dad in the hospital and the stuffed dog looked terrible. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone and I've learned some things (like stuffed animals) are better to buy in store.

I sent this to a 30-something friend who had been in an accident while I was out of town so she would have something to cuddle in the hospital. I forgot to include a gift message, so I know it wasn't staged when I walked into her hospital room later and she was already holding and cuddling it. She was so delighted with it--I would order it again in a heartbeat. She especially loved that it was a labradoodle. What a unique gift and a great price point if you want to send a soft friend that isn't the conventional teddy bear :)

I was searching for a Gund puppy for my baby Australian Labradoodle when I brought her home to keep her company while she was apart from her siblings.I found this precious Gund Labradoodle and knew immediately that it was the perfect solution for her to sleep with!She LOVED it right away and bonded with her new "baby" and carried it everywhere.Lucy is now 4 months old and still her baby Gund is her favorite toy.She doesn't sleep without it!

It does shed a bit, but after a few washings it's much better.I think Lucy will play with her baby Gund until she wears it out!
