Pressman Toy Chess and Checkers Board Games

If you can get past the smell of the checkers and checker board, the product would be ok.Maybe it needs to be checked for chemicals.

Bought this for my 5 year old who was interested in learning Checkers and Chess. It's a low priced set and it is mostly fine for a 5 year old.

Positively:

-Works just fine for a child who wants to learn

-Inexpensive

The biggest complaints were as follows:

-Came missing a checker

-The board was not completely flat

-The chess pieces were a little small

BOUGHT THIS GAME FOR MY 6 YEAR OLD GRANDSON. HE WAS LEARNING TO PLAY CHECKERS/CHESS IN SCHOOL. MY FAMILY COMPETES WITH EACH OTHER IN CHESS, SO HE HAS TEACHERS AT HOME. IT'S A GREAT EDUCATIONAL GAME.
