I thought these were pirate flag picks with striped cupcake liners, i.e. baking cups. But they are wrappers. I didn't understand that this means a flat, curved piece of paper that you are to wrap around the finished cupcake and then slot together. I didn't even bother with the wrappers -looked like it would be a hassle and they wouldn't stay closed around the cupcake. Which was a shame because the silver-and-white stripe looks cool.The pirate flag cupcake picks were great though. We made red velvet ("pirate's blood") cupcakes with white frosting, then put in picks and done. I used standard shiny silver baking cups and it looked great.
