Front Porch Classics - Baseball Under the Lights

Front Porch Classics - Baseball Under the LightsI gave this to my 8 year old for his birthday, he loves it.His older brothers and him play it for hours at a time, it is more challenging than one we played in the past, so I was thinking of returning it.However, they love it and could not spend more time playing it.I am not really into video games, so this works out great. They are usually outside playing, but when they need a little down time or it is dark or raining this is perfect.

Very pleased! My 8 year old grandson loves it! He's a baseball fan anyway, and spends a lot of time with this game. I'm happy to get him away from electronic games,( nintendo, play station), and give him something a little different . I was worried he wouldn't be able to hit home runs, but did that in 1st inning. The lights are awesome, just like night time baseball. We play in a dark room, fun and entertaining.

I found this and noticed there were some not-so-great reviews, but my pinball crazy kids made me take the leap anyways. We got it and I was very (happily) surprised. I think that the quality is great and has really stood up well to lots of use. The concept is really fun, and everyone always wants to play it. Of course, this was supposed to be for my kids but once my husband got his hands on it, it disappeared into our basement and I can now hear him and his friends shouting as they fight for the highest score. How this thing is still in one piece I don't know (seriously, these men need to learn how to treat things gently) but it is still working just as well as the day we got it. A great purchase that was well worth the money!

Nice piece...seems like a realistic ball game:)))Works well and gives a real feel as if watching a game in Boston or Portland:)

ball gets caught when trying to go around corner upon launching.the design could use some work like when hitting the ball i, and others who have played it think the hitting stroke should be turned around. like having the bat spring pulled back waiting for ball to ccome down then just let go of batting lever with spring tenson to swing at the pitch.
