I bought this stool because I'm disabled and I wanted to be able to sit while working in the kitchen. It is very nice, but oh, my God, hang on for dear life.It rolls sublimely!I try to situate it on a throw rug so that it will hold still while I climb on. Whew and zoom zoom! It is one of those dang things that arrived in pieces so that you have to put it together. I am not good at this as a rule, but this was easy.

This stool can be very tall (it's adjustable), which is great on the back for a tall guy. It's got a big thick padded seat that is very comfortable.

This stool's seat looks thinner in this photo. In actuality, it's more like the "Master Massage Adjustable Rolling Stool" seat. It's about 3.5 inches deep (thick) and, as another reviewer said, it compresses A LOT! when sat upon. In my case, I'm 5.5" and weigh 152lbs, it compresses so much on the side on which I am sitting that it creates a sort of slope, and I feel I must constantly guard against slipping off. Even after I get up, the slope remains for some time. And, if I return any time soon, I must be careful to sort of pull the stool under me, because attempting to sit on the slope causes the stool to push out and away.

The chrome is a bit different, too. In the photo it looks brushed, it is really very shiny.

Also, with the assembly instructions came a notice that the included castors were to be used on a rug. If you have wood floors, they suggest you get softer casters. I have wood floors.

Other than these disappointments, it arrived quickly and seems to be very sturdy. The adjustable height works very well. Because of the seat, however, I would not buy another.

We own an animal clinic and needed a couple additional stools and these looked good. The price looked great so we ordered them and today I put them together which was incredibly easy. The parts are quality and I elevated the seat to the limit and I sat myself down, (260 lbs) and no problem. The women in the office would have to try to damage these chairs if I was not able to. The only thing to note is that the cushion is larger/thicker than the one pictured here, which is not a bad thing just different. I recommend this stool for its quality parts, ease of set up, comfort, fast delivery and price.

i got a cheapo chair first time (which was actually more expensive and broke in under a week!). this chair is durable, big (for those who need it), goes up quite high (which i love!) and in general is a low maintenance must-have in my household, doubling as a portable mini-table and could-be child walk-assistant during toddler years. this is inexpensive and top quality. 5 stars is the limit. one more thing, it rolls smoothly. i tries the other and it barely rolled. this one will roll very smoothly on the hardwood flooring.
