If you like ship models (and I do) then this model is outstanding.Was concerned about the size but turned out to be just right for a library table I had in mind for it.I do not want a case for it and was pleased to see they recommended cleaning it after arrival using compressed air (cans used for computers work great).It came very well packed but admit it was bit of a chore getting it out of the crate and set up.Had to call and find out that one of the instructions (about removing screws) no longer applied to recent packing. Before purchasing I had called their toll free number to ask questions and they were very helpful.Same with this issue.To find their website you need to google "old modern handicrafts" and under contact they have their toll free number.Oddly it is not on any of the material enclosed. They suggested having a friend help remove the model but I found it was easy enough to do by myself once I had both sides free to spread apart.Lots of bits of foam packing material once I had model freebut found vacuumed with shop vac (other than model) just fine and wet towel picked up other small bits.I found I had to use a hammer (very carefully) in getting the crating loose in places and there are any number of sharp points on the crating material to be careful with.Unfortunately because of the way this was crated it would be difficult if not impossible to recrate it to move somewhere.I had hoped to do that for when my son wants this in his home.I may yet save the box since I have room and perhaps it could be recrated with modifications at some point.Overall I feel that this model is excellent value and can recommend it.Save 10% Off
