Little Tikes Island Adventure Water Table

I decided to purchase this water table over the similar Step 2 water table because it is made by Little Tikes and because it has "buttons" you hit to create water action:one button makes water splash up and one creates small currents in the water.HOWEVER, be warned:I had this table just a little while before I realized that this toy is one of those "sounds great in theory, but not so great in practice" situations.In order to transport the water around, there are lengths of black tubing hooked up on the bottom, and these do not seal properly.Therefore, whenever your child pours water in the reservoir necessary to make the splash, it leaks rather badly out of the bottom.Also, the tubing hooked up to the "current" nodule has a continuous, slow but steady slow drip.I suppose I could let everything dry and then caulk the tubings into place, hopefully stopping the leaks, but I shouldn't have to do this with a brand-new toy.Shame on you, Little Tikes, for making an inferior product, especially after so many durable, dependable toys!This is going right back to Target, and I will buy the Step 2 table instead.

This toy looked like a lot more fun than the Step 2 toy; it had a car track, three buttons that shot water up in the air, a bridge and a water wheel. However, the water leaked slightly out of the tubing (for us, not as much as the other reviews stated-maybe we were lucky). The slight leak was fine, since we're playing with it on our deck. The deal breaker for us was that within three weeks, there were two matching cracks in the interior. The cracks were not man-made, looked like weaknesses in the table. We took it back to Target and tried to get a replacement but could not because it is "seasonal." Granted it's the first week of August-plenty of summer left. My two year old son loved it but the water would drain within a half hour, and I'm not in to wasting that much water for a toy.

I eagerly purchased this table for my daughter's two-year birthday. I painstakingly assembled it the night prior. After a good 40 minutes of struggling to fit the tubes over the plastic, and several snubbed fingers, I flipped the table over and the legs fell off. Oddly, there is no locking mechanism to keep them in place. Still, I was determined to present a gift. I then filled it with water in the channels where the tubes are mounted. No sooner did it begin drip drip dripping beneath EVERYWHERE. I then tilted it over, where the legs effortlessly fell off, tried tightening the tubes and almost lost a finger in the process. It's very poorly made. Needless to say, I presented it to my daughter the next morning knowing full well it'd be heading back to Target. TIP: Fill a garbage can with water and place bath toys in it for a far superior product. Shame on you, Little Tikes! This product should be recalled!! NOTE: I purchased Step 2 Water Wheel table. It puts Little Tikes to shame. I plan on adding 5 stars by that one.

This product lasted about 3 weeks for us.From the start, it leaked from the tubesbut I didn't seem to mind that so much since it is an outdoor toy and was dripping on my grass.You'll have to refill often.The product should have a 4th leg because when the table is full it sags (the 3 legs spread apart and the sides of the table dip).After three weeks the inside of the table cracked from the water weight. Then it was leaking so bad, I had to refill hourly.I just threw ours in the garbage -waste of money.

Yes, as previously mentioned, it was hard to put together.The reason the legs wouldn't attach correctly was because the slots for the legs to snap into weren't completely punched out (manufacturing flaw).After poking a little hole with a screwdriver (where a hole should have been anyway) the legs snapped right in and were fine.

My son (2 years) LOVES this toy now that it's assembled.The half hour of frustration that it caused me was well worth the hours of happy play that he and all the neighbor kids have had.The fact that it has also attracted the neighbor kids is a great sign as well!
