Polly Pocket Stylin' Flyers Lila Set

I was disappointed by this toy. My daughter likes it well enough, but it really doesn't fly far at all. About 6 feet indoors if you're lucky, and maybe 15 feet outdoors if you throw it REALLY hard. I thought it would at least do some reasonable gliding (for outdoors).

Indoors, its OK that it doesn't go very far, since you don't want it breaking things in the house. It also has a rather hefty counterweight at the top of the flyer, which means it lands on things with a hard SMAK.

I figured if Polly NEEDED a flying action toy, it would glide nicely. I think a parachute would be more fun for Polly to have, if she has to have one.

I love Lila's hair!The purple streaks are very cool.Her clothes are not removable so I don't have to yank on crumbling plastic clothes all the time.The flying thing can't fly very well but it is still pretty fun (ouch, I don't use it much though because Lila must get a headache from crashing!).It just proves that Mattel can make good Polly set.Seven stars!

My daughters each got one of these for Christmas and they love them! The other reviewer is right about the polly being a weight on the front of it.She lands head down everytime, but the kids don't mind at all!They just pick her back up and go all over again.So far it has held up to many, many crash landings.The wings are made of a nylon type of fabric, so it has been very durable.

Even thought the design could have been a little better to get her to fly a little longer, this toy gets 5 stars from us.Just listening to the girls giggle as she flys through the air was worth 5 stars!

My granddaughter LOVED this toy.She spent hours finding different ways and directions for Lila to fly, and didn't put it down until bedtime.
