Step2 Fun Flow Play Sink

Step2 Fun Flow Play SinkMy 2 year old and 4.5 year old have had great fun playing with this... for about 3 weeks. That's when the pump button stopped working and the pump started going ON randomly.Last night was the last straw. At 3 a.m. the pump went on when there was no water in the sink and the noise was so loud that it woke up both kids. There I was at 3 a.m. hunting around for two different kinds of screw drivers to open the plastic housing to get the batteries out. When I got it open I could see that the batteries were wet, which obviously was how the switch was being bypassed.

I purchased this for my granddaughters birthday. We assembled it and the grandchildren, age 1, 3 and 18 months started playing and having a ball. After about 15 minutes, the water pump started making a screaching sound and stopped pumping the water. They still continued to play with the water.I called Step 2 the next day and I had a new pump in 3 days. They were very accomodating. So much so, I purchased another Fun Flow Sink for my other granddaughter!

Went through two of these and had trouble with the pump both times. Poor quality / design. Save your money and buy a water table without the pump.

I have read the reviews about this toy, but I did not believe the reviews written. I was so excited because my grand son likes to play with water especially sinks. I was so disappointed that the reviews written about the pumps are true. Yes the pump does not work, unfortunately I can't return it because I sent it as gift over seas and it will cost a lot to return it.

My children, ages 18 months and 3 1/2 love this toy. However, when I purchased it, the spout was battery operated and ran continously. Well, the pump broke in less than a week. Step 2 sent out a replacement immediately, but it was not the battery operated pump, but rather a manual pump. My children still love this toy, but don't use the spout very much anymore because they have to pump it themselves and it's too much work for them. Still love product, but the cost should be lowered now that the spout is manual, especially since one of the attractive features of the product was the continuous water flow.
