I am primarily interested in tabletop gaming and model conversion, not so much into the Art of Tactic. The first thing that I want to make sure people know is that even though the description states "8 figures with equipment", this is a bit of an error. The four figures shown in the picture are included; 2 engineers with metal detectors, a man trimming a log with a hatchet, and a fought carrying two boxes. The other four "figures" are a small bridge, some sections of barbed wire, and some similar accessories.
The mold is good, and the metal detectors are a nice looking touch. Visually, it is a very compelling set of an uncommon subject. The additional accessories seem to vary pretty widely from the 1/72 scale; it is my understanding they are game markers, and not really intended as models, but I was pleased with the accessories as they will be easily modified into other things.
Without the need for the accessories or the Art of Tactic angle, this set is a little on the expensive side for 4 figures. The plastic in my set pretty hard, so take care when clipping figures off of the sprue.
All in all, as an Add-On Item, or for around $3 5, it would be worth it. Otherwise, not so much.
