Athena Newton Table and Chair Set in Mahogany(2010 New Product)

This furniture is fantastic!! Easy to assemble, sturdy, beautiful finish.It looks great next to our family dining table because it is the same quality.The table and chairs should last a long time.The chairs are just as sturdy as our adult chairs.

Dec 2012We have now owned the table for over 2 years and the table looks as good as when we first purchased it.Highly recommend.

I thought this was a great choicethe size, color, quality were what I wanted.Unfortunately I could not put it together.The holes in both the table and one of the chairs were drilled incorrectly.It was apparent that someone had tried to fix the chair before as the holes were reamed with a hand drill and the chair had different screws from the other chair. I called the manufacturer and they said that "no one had ever had any trouble like this before."Luckily the distributor refunded my money immediately.

I gave it two stars instead of one because I still liked the wood and appearance of the set (if I could have used it).One thing to note -the table is one to two inches taller than other kids' tables.
