D & D Minis: Soldier of Thrane # 9 - Deathknell

I purchased this mini hoping to have a standard "Defender, Knight, Warrior, Paladin, etc." as it seems to be a very multi-dimensional kind of mini. Two of the things that first caught my eye about the product were it's price and the coloring (particularly on the shield).When the mini arrived, however, there was practically no coloring on it whatsoever. The shield, which I originally loved from the picture, was completely grey with black scuff marks all over it instead of the vibrant gold and silver from the picture.Additionally the blue highlights on the solider are poorly colored and it looks as if the "painter" let paint drip in many other places on the solider that the blue coloring is not supposed to be. For $1.29 I guess I cannot complain too much, but for the shield, essentially the main focus on the piece, to have not been colored whatsoever was quite annoying and led me to rate this mini lower.
