Gave it two my twin 20 mo old grandchildren for those times when a 'separation' is required.Surprisingly they understand the chair represents the need to reevaluate their behavoir.Of course time-outs at this age last less than a minute.Sometimes you find one of them on it voluntarily reading a book.... lolIt's reasonably compact, perfect height, and blends in with any decor.Kind of funny because their Dad refers to them as his 'Bears' so the little bear on it seem quite appropriate.

This product was shipped in a timmely manner. The product is very durable,colorful and hand painted with non-toxic paints. The chair is an adorable place for a child to sit down and think about what he or she has done wrong. I bought this chair for my grandchild. In my day raising children, we did not have a time out chair. I was a little reluctant to make this purchase. My daughter uses it when necessary, and it is helpful for my grandson, (who is 21 months), to understand the difference between right and wrong. My daughter does not make it a place for punishment, which I'm glad about. My daughter sits him down and explains that he should take a time-out and think about what he has done,which can sometime be hurtful, and try not to do it again. All in all, it is a great idea and great product.
