My daughter got this for her birthday. She loves it. The cup holder is key because she can store pens & pencils while we are on the go. She keeps it in the car so she can do her homework on the way home from school. It's lightweight but not flimsy.
I was a bit disappointed in this lap desk because the top is cheap-looking plastic and the lap pad is is pretty cheesy.It would be fine if it was about $10 less expensive. It will work for a young kid but not so much an older kid or adult.
