My Daughter is 2, and my Son is 6. We tried to pass down the kiddie chair to her that my son used when he was a toddler. My Son now has a gigantic beanbag chair to use but couldn't find it within himself to stay out of his former chair. My Daughter quickly grew weary of fighting over the baby chair and would many times leave their playroom entirely.
I saw this chair on Amazon as I'd bought several other Disney based products for my child. I ordered this chair originally on December 4th in what I felt was plenty of time for Chistmas. I received one notification on about the 13th informing me that the chair still hadn't shipped. I got another notification on about the 16th stating that the chair would be shipped between the 10th and the 15th. However, when I would use the package tracking option the chair clearly hadn't shipped. I checked every day as Christmas grew nearer. After tracking the package daily, I finally saw that it left the plant in California finally on December 20th. I was relieved but only shortly. The chair stayed at the original loading destination until the 22nd.I didn't pay for rush delivery because I'd ordered the chair so early. It arrived at the shipping destination on December 23rd in Illinois. I had reserved my expectations to the chair arriving after Christmas and gave up hope.
Well I can tell you that THERE IS A SANTA CLAUS because around 2:30pm on the 24th, the UPS man showed up at my door in Maryland with box in hand from Illinois, in time for Christmas. I was SO PLEASED that the package had indeed arrived, but more importantly there were big block letters on the box saying MADE IN U.S.A. This made me extremely happy in that I just learned that a Maryland based sports clothing manufacturer who I faithfully bought products from because they still produced clothing in the USA had recently began manufacturing in China just as so many other Corporations have.
The chair itself was beautifully made and the detailed stitching was impeccable. You could tell even through the fabric and bottom covering that the frame was solid hardwood reminiscent of the furniture that we grew up with in our Grandparents houses.
Needless to say that my Daughter LOVED it and actually created a little "chair dance" due to her excitement and adulation.
Fantastic product at an excellent price from what turns out to be an exceptional U.S company. If I have the opportunity to, I will buy from them many many times again!!!We bought this chair for a christmas present. It is very very sturdy. Super cute and I am so pleased with the purchase.
This is a great chair. Very sturdy and beautifully made. I got it for my 14 month old and she loves it but my 5 year old uses it too.
Only thing that could bother me is the fact that the pink color is very light and will probably get dirty quickly. I set it up without legs so my daughter has an easy access.I recommend this chair to everyone. I got my niece the Mickey Mouse chair with red and yellow and she is also very pleased with it.We received the Minnie mouse chair fairly quickly and out of the box you can tell the construction quality was very good. I am impressed (not one to impress easy)with the appearance and construction of the chair. A minor concern would be the bow, as it has a tendency to get loose and you can see the pin holding it in (hopefully it won't fall off). The upholstery is easy to clean and very soft. The removable legs are great as well especially if the chair is too high. Overall, my daughter lovers the chair and it looks great in the living room.Very sturdy but smaller than expected. My grandchild likes it. Ottoman may come in handy when she is a little older.
