Kids Table and 2 Chairs Set (Solid Wood in Natural)

Kids Table and 2 Chairs SetThis table is exactly what i was looking for my 2 yo son. I love it and he loves it. Its very stable even on carpet, very strong (i can sit on chair myself), round corners are safe for kid. Very easy to assemble, did it myself in 30 mins.

My package was complete, in tact, no scrapes, dings, defects etc. I set put it all together within 30 minutes with my 9 yr old niece (bought it for my 2yr old daughter). The wood is not "raw" as some has described, it has a varnish/finish to it. Looks great. Easy to wipe clean. Wicked sturdy.

We ordered this table and chair set for our grandson's room in our house. He loves it, and we love it, too. It has a lovely finish, and is just the right size for a small toddler, with room to grow. Easy to assemble.

Our table and chair set was defective. One of the table legs did not match-up (only one screw can go in this leg), making the table very wobbly. There is a sizable gash on the table top that will soon splinter. Also, the set is not what I consider to be "finished." It is raw wood with a light buffing (sanding). I really didn't want another project. Also, I'm wondering now if this set is water-resistant since it doesn't appear to have a clear coat? You might be disappointed if you're planning to use it right away.

I have contacted the seller for a full refund and I will report back and possibly change my rating depending on how they respond. What a huge pain and disappointment :(

Update: I changed my rating from 1 to 3 because of the seller's response. I would probably buy from them again. However, I would not buy this table again because it is unfinished. Otherwise (defects aside) it is a nice, sturdy set which is what attracted me to it in the first place.

Sturdy construction and rounded edges in a beautiful little set, I'm glad I found this at such a good price (it was $50 when I bought it). I use some wood oil to keep it happy and clean it with a bit of dishsoap on a sponge. Crayon marks come up with a little effort. Scratches happen, and adding a protective coating as another reviewer mentioned is a great idea.
