Periodic Table of Elements 1000-Piece Puzzle

Good learn and play toy. It was all that I expected. Many of the peices are the same shape and can be interchanged so you have to know or look at what goes where to get the puzzle correct.

You can put peices in the wrong places and not know it.

A friend posted this completed puzzle on Facebook and I commented that I thought it looked like fun I like this sort of challenge!My wife, unknown to me, ordered it from Amazon and surprised me with it a couple of weeks later.I enjoyed the time I spent putting it together and felt really smart when I finished it!Great fun!Thanks, Patty!

so far he has learned more from that puzzle than i did in school. It was a nice challenge but he's got more than half of it together.

I really like the Eurographics puzzles; they mix a nice colorful puzzle with something of good educational value.This is the second one we own.This puzzle in particular is easy enough to keep an 8 year interested thanks to the generous amount of letters and numbers in the puzzle.During the setting, my son and I had a nice talk about how the elements relate to one another.If there is any downside to the Eurographics products it would be that there are usually 2-3 pieces where the edging is peeling a bit.Also some of the pieces seem to fit together very well even though it isn't their proper place.Usually you catch those after a while; they tended to be on the borders.
