POOF-Slinky 36600 Ideal Shut The Box Tabletop Game

A recent visit to Valley Forge National Park prompted me to purchase this vintage toy for my children. A woman reenactor was demonstrating some of the games played by colonial children and my kids had a good time playing it that day. Shut the Box is definitely educational as it was used to teach children to count. There are several variations to the game which can be found online to keep it interesting. The toy is fun, very durable, and has a nice antique look to it. It is also a very ideal game for travel. I would recommend this for any age.

Cute game for my daughter, and a great way to practice her math facts.Could probably use a 3rd die to make things more interesting: unless you roll high numbers you run out of options pretty quickly.But i like the simplicity of it and overall am happy with the value.
