Our family ranges from 13 to 84 years old, and we like to play games we all can enjoy. Proclaim! is the best new game we've found in years.It is hard to find a word game that is challenging for everyone playing, fast moving, easy for the whole family to play, and doesn't give a big advantage to someone with a huge vocabulary or skill with words. Proclaim! meets all these goals, and is great fun.
The game never seems to lag or become boring. No long waits while players figure out puzzles or make up definitions. Most of the words were really well suited to a broad age range, so even kids of 10 or younger can play, yet it still challenges adults this is not a family only game. The words seemed very well chosen so it was fun, challenging but not too difficult to come up with clues. The interesting scoring may seem strange at first, but it really isn't that hard, and quickly makes sense.
If you like games like Balderdash or Wise and Otherwise, you should try this game. It really is enjoyable.

I have spent countless hours playing this board game with friends and family. I would have to say that it is the most fun board game that I own.If you want to see a roomful of people laugh till it hurts, and, coincidentally, learn a lot about one another, invite them to Proclaim! night at your house!You quickly learn the clue-giving strategy that works for you and, if you're right, you're in the lead if only until the next round!!And, you can even play this at the lunch table at work, so the name of the company sure makes sense!!I highly recommend this game instead of the same old, forgettable games!
