This floor light will "fit" into either a formal living room with ease or in my case I love it in my den.I needed a lamp at the end of my couch. The small base size is an absolutely perfect fit for the space.Then the 3-way light was an added bonus.I cannot say enough nice things about this light, it truly is a 5-star lamp.
