I bought this one for my wife and a red one for me.We love it.In landscape mode (sideways) you can put it on your nightstand like an alarm clock or on your chest if you are laying down to watch videos.Holds our iPhone 4s' perfectly.In portrait mode (connection port down) it is not as steady but as good as anything else I've tried.Would make an excellent gift.
