It is exactly what you'd expect.Light (so it topples easiliy, but the kids don't get hurt and can get it closer by themselves) and easy to clean.The chairs are very light, but we have carpets so they don't slip.We also put them against the L-shaped couch so they don't fall back.I had a wooden table before, but that was just a lego table so no snacking or playing with cars & play doh on it -we donated it to Goodwill.We also have two sturdier kiddie chairs, which you could buy separately.

The table works with Lego, Duplo and even with Mega Blocks -not perfectly, but well enough that a 2-year old can do it.

I love it and would recommend it without hesitation.

The bases do not fit true Legos as well as we had hoped. You have to really push down to get them to stay put and then they're very difficult to pry back off again. It's not that it doesn't work at all, it's just not as smooth as I wish it had been. The quality is thin plastic, my kids are active but not roughand it has held up well. We've had it for 1 1/2 years. The tabletop cover helps, we end up using this the most to make & build. It was a good height when we got it when he was 3, now at 5 it's feeling a little short & small. For the price (we got ours at TRUs also for $40) it was worth it but again, it's too bad the legos don't fit. Which is the point of the table.

I bought this by Toys R Us since i saw the other reviews that its much cheaper there (btw, Thanks for the other reviews notify us about this price difference)and i have to tell you, the other reviews were right that it's not so good and strong, my kids loved the colors of the table, the liked the idea of the legos, but it only comes and works with the small legos which is made for 1 year old baby's and you CAN'T play with the regular Lego on it, also, the table is too low and chairs too high, other words its hard to seat on these chairs under the table for my 5 year old girl, also very junky. not recommended!

I read several reviews on the Toys R Us websit and decided to by this table based on the reviews.I do not like this table at all.Due to my boys age we are using Duplo's but they barely work on the table.You have to put your hand underneath the table and push up to get the Duplo's to snap in place but as soon as someone touches the table they snap off.I thought maybe it was just Duplo's and Lego's work better.Nope same situation.Then I thought we would just keep it for a play table but the chairs are flimsy and the seat is a smooth plastic so the boys keep sliding out of them.We will be returning this item.However if after reading my review you still think eh I'll try it don't buy it here.It's more than double what I paid for it.

We bought this table over 2 years ago for two reasons we needed a table with small chairs and we wanted something to work with lego-type toys. Thus far, it has been VERY durable one kiddo and four doggies have pushed this thing around with no issues.

It's a great sized table to do projects on we do arts & crafts projects just about everyday on it...and we use it to do Pre-K worksheets. We wipe it up with a "green" wipe and we move right to snack. It's just a great table.
