I bought this set for my 12 year old daughter for Christmas. I chose this set because everything that she needed was included. I loved the fact that it had the easel was included. She used it right away and was very happy with it. She has no complaints about the quality of the supplies and her artwork is all over the house already. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my girlfriend's son.He has always struggled to be able to assemble everything he wanted to draw/paint/create with, in one spot.This was the perfect answer.He doesn't use the easel much at all, but I look at that as personal preference.For a gift for a kid that loves to explore their artistic side, you can't do much better.
