My daughter begged for this musical vanity.I was out shopping early on black Friday to get this vanity for half price. We just gave it to our daughter tonight as an early Christmas present. (traveling out of town and it would not fit in the car). After it took over an hour to assemble it, it stopped working right after it was put together. My little girl is so disappointed and quite frankly, so am I.There is no way to take it apart once it's together, so it's going back to the store as it is.I will not buy another one.So much for getting it for half price...it wasn't worth it.

My 3 year old daughter received this for Christmas and LOVES it!She loves listening to the songs and playing with the makeup. Our harmonica(the eye shadow) doesn't work well, but it's ok, she still likes playing with the eye shadow.I agree with the other reviewers...make sure you read the directions because some of the pieces may be hard to take apart if you make a mistake. The directions were easy to follow though, and it only took me about 1/2 an hour to put everything together...stickers and all.Read Best Reviews of Disney Princess Disney Princess Keyboard Vanity (Closed Box) Here
I don't think all the plastic is worth the retail value, however since I was able to get for near half price, it has been the Christmas hit for our 3.5yo princess!!Actually, her 4.5yo & even her 8yo brothers enjoy making music together. My husband put it together in about 30min. without complaint, unlike some of the other toys!!It does seem to tip back easy, but we have it situated up against a wall and it is grand. Our daughter dresses in her princess clothes and loves to sing along with all of her Disney princesses!!She is amazed at the "magic mirror" every time.My husband, who usually comments on all the "junk toys" had nothing but positives for this so far!!I would definitely recommend this for your little princess!! :)

This was a gift for my 4 year old daughter. It took 45 minutes putting this together while watching tv.The hardest part is putting on the stickers, not kidding.Scroll to the bottom of the review for my tips (not that I am an expert).
If you read the directions, this goes together very easily, If you put it together using the picture as a reference you will have problems getting the turrents on as the one reviewer did, but I do not see how that review should go against the product since they did not follow the easy, simple directions that were included. It took more time putting on the stickers (I hate stickers) then it did assembling the toy.
My 4 year old loves this tow, Woke up this morning to her playing it again. It has many built in songs for kids to dance to so if they cannot play or make music, it does not matter. It seems pretty tough once together and should last a long time. You only need a standard philips screwdriver to put it all toghether, and I had 2 extra screws (went through the directions again, yes, 2 extra so...)
tips: on the wiring harness that goes from the keyboard part to the mirror part, try to make it go in sideways and double check that it is not hung up before giving it that final squeeze because they are designed to stay together once assembled.
Do not tell your child about the power switch on the back. The jewel in the center also turns it on and off (we have not lost it yet, but I think if you lose it the keyboard will not work until you find it (or jerryrig something to make it work) so you can have some peace and quiet.
