Stride-to-RideLion is great! My daughter is 9 months. She loves hitting the nose and dancing to it. lol. She plays with the lion's hair. The little bugs on the both sides of the lion she plays with that too. Sometimes I do have help her stand up to walk with the lion because it'll move a little as she is getting up but once she is on it she is on the move! (until she hits a wall or my cabinets). No doubt in my mind that she'll be walking soon.I bought this toy/walker to encourage and aide pre-toddler (9 mos & up)with learning to walk. It's adorable, yet still too light and easily tips over. So, I placed three (3) 16 OZ. canned products in space under the seat (in raised position for walking baby can NOT get them out). This has helped weigh it down to the point where she can now use it to support her rather than tip over. She enjoys putting her Elmo on the seat and pushing him around and getting lots of assisted walking practice.Pressing nose makes music.Easy to assemble and seems fairly sturdy.Feel she will also enjoy being able to sit and ride fairly soon.

We bought this for our little girl when she was 8 months old.The lion is very cute, has a big purple nose that lights up when pushed, and it plays music. It really encouraged our daughter to walk and within a couple of weeks she was walking without holding onto anything. Now she's 13 months old and uses it as a ride on toy.You don't have to push the nose in order to get the music to play, sometimes it plays when you push it around.Great toy, highly recommend!

As others have suggested, the lion moves too quickly (at least on hardwood floors) for a beginning walker to manage. Our 11-1/2 month-old, however, solved the problem by turning the lion sideways and pushing. She loves it, and it hasn't scratched up the floors at all. She can manage it from behind on deep-pile rugs, but I think the angle she uses to push it sideways is more comfortable. This is a great walker.I was hesitant to buy it at first since I found other walkers that had brakes on the wheels and this one does not. That has not seemed to make a difference however, as my 8 1/2 month old son has learned very quickly how to push it without letting it get away from him.I purchased this a little over a week ago and my son is fixated on this and wants to "walk" everywhere with it.It has a wide wheel base and is very sturdy.Great walker!
