Lego Activity Table and 1 playmat

I ordered this table for my son a few weeks ago (clearanced out at $60) and he is absolutely in love with it! It is the same size as most train tables but has an opening on the table top boards to push your legos into the drawer. This table however, does not have a printed playmat on the table top as the picture indicates. It only has the blue tabletop and a rug/carpet like printed playmat that you can take on and off.

I was a little disappointed when we received it because I was under the impression that it also had the molded Lego tabletop so you could connect your Legos right to the table, it does not have that feature, both sides of the tabletop are smooth.

Lastly I wanted to comment on Blips customer service. Upon opening our table I noticed our tabletop pieces were both broken sometime during shipping (either to the store I bought it from or to my home). I was afraid that since this item was on clearance that Blip wouldn't have any pieces left. To my delight, they not only had replacement pieces to send me, but they also sent them out to me at no charge, called to confirm that they had shipped the replacement parts after my initial call and had them to me within a week! Rarely do you hear of great customer service like this anymore! You could hear the smile in their voice and best of all I didn't have to deal with a computer generated answering system!

The only negative about this product is that it is made of the same particle board products that most train tables are made from, so it will not hold up under a lot of weight (hence the broken pieces before it was even assembled ) but this shouldn't be a problem with older children who are out of the climbing stage and know how to respect their toys.

All in all it's a great product aand we are very happy to have it in our ever growing Lego collection!

We were looking for a lego table just like this-flat with a storage drawer. Although the table is a bit small, it's the perfect size for my 4 year old to make his projects (mostly cars) and then zoom them around. You can use with the enclosed playmat or without (we vary). We have it on hardwood floor and have had zero stability issues. In use for over 6 months. Excellent table.

My son loves this Lego table. It serves the purpose but it could be a bit more stable and of slightly better quality. But then for the price, I guess, it is what it is. I would recommend it, especially for small spaces.
