I tried out some D&D minis despite reviews urging seekers of prepainted minis to go with competitor WizKids. If the detail of the painting is important to you, WizKids is probably a better option. I should have been suspicious when clicking to enlarge the photo of the mini opened up another page but the image remained the same small size.
