Little Tikes Spiralin' Seas Waterpark

Little Tikes Spiralin' Seas WaterparkThis water table was purchased for my 5 year-old daughter. She's Autistic and is rather obsessed with water.Of all the tables on the market, we felt this one offered the most for the price.

When I first got the package home, she was ecstatic. She did a happy dance as I set about putting it together.Assembly was fairly easy (although it didn't go nearly fast enough for her) and she instantly set about sending the balls down the spiral, even without water in the basin. We let her play with it for a time like that, but eventually, she asked for water.Clearly, she'd deduced its true purpose, so we brought it outside and filled it up.

She spent the rest of the day playing with it, alternating between the different activities. She mostly ignored the green, twirly thing, but she enjoyed the Ferris wheel and the little gears. Her favorite by far, though, is the spiral.

The next day was the real test, as toys often lose their luster rather quickly (sometimes, she casually tosses away a toy in the store she just had to have only a few minutes before). She immediately went to the table, bypassing the swing and trampoline she usually plays with.In her never ending quest to discover new ways to play with her toys, she realized she could put a bucket under the table and pull the plug.Once the bucket was full, she'd put the plug in and fill the table again, only to drain it once more. She amused herself doing that for hours. There you go, Little Tikes, another water feature you can add to the box.

Making my daughter happy is one thing, but the true test was when the neighbor girls came over.Aged 3, 5 and 6, they also spent the entire day playing with it.To me, that equals a hit, especially considering our track record for getting toys that rarely get played with.

If there are any negatives, it's that the balls sometimes get stuck in the spiral, but even that has become a fun adventure as my daughter pours a bucket of water down the chute and watches the balls come flying out.I haven't had any of the problems mentioned by the 1-star reviews, namely the buckling legs.I do suggest not trying to drag the toy when it's full of water as the legs can bend, but that's an issue easily avoided.

All in all, I've paid far more for toys that have made my daughter far less happy.

I have a 5 yr. old and an 18 month old. I was looking for a fun water table they both could play with and enjoy while being outside. So far this is a hit and both are enjoying it. I was very pleased with the construction -sturdy and well made. The only bummer was little tykes forgot the screws needed for assembly in my box, but I called them and they were super helpful and are shipping out a set of new ones. You should receive 8 screws and they will be inside the little red cup. Look for them. A random side note both my kids are super tall and I wondered if the toy would be too low for them. My 5 yr old who is over 48" tall, plays with it great.

I have three kids ages 6, 4 and 2.I bought this for the 2-year-old's birthday and all three love it equally and want to play with it constantly. For that alone, I would give it five stars, but unfortunately the table legs don't seem to withstand the weight of the water. The sides of the table buckle and the legs begin to slide outward on the grass.Very annoying and because of this I have to empty the table every night so it doesn't get permanently damaged huge waste of water!Maybe it would work better on a level surface like the driveway, but I bought it for the back yard so they could play safely without needing me sitting outside with them.We have only used it three times so far so I'm a little scared that it's not going to last long. The three stars I did give it are because my kids love it so much sure hope it doesn't break because they will be devastated.

I just got the The Spiralin' Seas Waterpark and my kids are having a blast with it! My ten year old daughter put the whole thing together herself.

The Spiralin' Seas Waterpark has lots of awesome features to keep your kids entertained for hours. Plus: water. What could be more fun? (You'll just be glad that they are actually getting cleaner while they play... for once.) The big attraction of this toy is the tall spiral that is in the center of the waterpark. The balls (included with it) are dropped by the children into the "water-slide" and spiral down ending up in the "lazy river," which has a spinner that your kids can turn to keep the river going. My children got every toy they could think of to float in the lazy rive that goes around the perimeter.

There is also a fun ferris wheel that can scoop up and drop off balls. And when they fill the cup (included) and pour it into the funnel they can make their own hydro-power for the twin water wheels.

For cooler times, The Spiralin' Seas Waterpark also works with sand! Or, you could bring it indoors and let your children play with the balls and other toys in, on, and around the miniature "Park."

We've had this table for 6 months and have used it almost every day.My kids are 1, 3, and 5 and LOVE playing with this table! It came with some cute toys and was fairly easy to put together. It hold a ton of water and has multiple options for the kids.

With that being said, the stability and durability of this table sucks. The three plastic legs are permanently bowed out from the weight of the water.I'd put less water in it, but then some of the features wouldn't work right and that kind of defeats the purpose. One leg doesn't fit into place correctly any more because of it and I'm afraid the whole thing will just collapse one of these days. Also, my son accidentally knocked it over one day when it was empty and the top of the spiral down tower broke off! It's completely non-repairable and not covered under the warranty. We kinda taped it back together and it works, but just isn't the same.I don't think the plastic there is thick enough.

Overall, the table is okay, but I wouldn't recommend it.
