A tabletop version of the classic carnival crank machines.Use levers to move the crank around.Grab candy & prizes and drop them in the exit chute to win.A lot of fun for children or adults.

Works with 3 "D" batteries.It doesn't accept a power cord.The slot by which you insert the prizes is 2" x 2", which keeps you from inserting prizes that won't fit into the prize exit chute.You must purchase the batteries and the candy or other prizes yourself.The game comes with a protective plastic bag surrounding the crank, which is awkward to remove because you must cut it off through the 2" opening.

The game has a Power on/off switch, a Music on/off switch, and a Game Start button.The point of the game is to win a prize within a limited amount of time (before the music stops).The only negative to the game is that there are 3 levers Claw forward/backward, Claw left/right, and Claw up/down, which is a little more awkward than the single lever carnival style games.You must hold the Claw up/down lever until the crank drops & attempts to grab the prize, and you must hold the up/down lever to move the claw down to the exit chute to release the prize.It doesn't just drop on its own or with a button press.

You run into some of the same challenges as in the full sized crank machines.Prizes close to the outer edges of the machine can be extremely difficult to get.Some prizes might block others, and sometimes you think you have the prize won, but end up dropping it.However, in this version, you get to keep trying until your time runs out, unlike the full sized versions which normally only let you drop the hook once per game.

I filled mine with Lindt Lindor Truffles (round wrapped chocolates), Ferrero Rocher Fine Hazelnut Chocolates (round wrapped chocolates with nuts), a Hot Wheels style car, Party Poppers (those little bottles that "explode" releasing confetti when you pull the string), and a couple of tiny toy dolls (Littlest Pet Shop "Pet Pairs" and a Dora the Explorer "Boots Squisher").I can't verify that it handles all these because I haven't won them all yet.:)Round items (must be under 2"x2") seem to be the easiest to win.

I really enjoy the game.It was well worth the price.

I received my "Sweet Machine" last week for my office.I must admit that for the price, it really is quite a sturdy little machine.I can't tell how many times co-workers have come into my office to try it (I also have a miniature soda machine, a gumball machine, and a full-size 4-ounce carnival-style popcorn machine in my office).

The machine fits anything under 2" by 2" (that's the size of the chute and the limit of what the little crane will carry).Right now, I have gumballs in there, but I'm looking for other goodies everytime I go to the store.Miniature wrapped candies will probably be perfect, and my own boss is ordering stuff to in there as well.It certainly breaks up the monotony of the day.

Great thing; you can shut the music off.Kids would love the music, but it will drive everyone else nuts within minutes.The music off button is a good thing!

My boss's son (who is turning two in a few weeks) visited and with the help of his dad managed to get a gumball on his second try (unfortunately he had to put it back... he's still too young for gumballs!) and so far, everyone has managed to grab prizes without too much frustration.A little, but not too much.

The controls are easy enough to use; you could probably do the same thing with one joystick rather than three, but there have been no complaints.

It takes three D-cell batteries and there is no option to plug-in to an outlet, but if anything, this makes the machine more portable so that the boss can bring it into his office and play with it for a while without fear of embarrassment.:^)

So far, I'm torn about giving this a 5-star rating... more like a 4.45, which makes me round down to four.But I do really like the machine and I'm very happy I got it!It's a fun thing to have when the kids of co-workers are visiting.

This sweet machine is really cool! its alot of fun, but if you get it, be carful to not overfill it, or it will be harder to get your prize. Double bubble works the best, but you can tape a ribbion loop on the prize to make it eaiser to pick up. remember, the less candy you have inside, the eaiser. this is well worth the money and i recomend it to anyone.

We bought this at a garage sale for $5, and put small pieces of candy in for the kids to try to grab and all they did was get frustrated that they could not grab anything sucessfully!!So we dumped the candy out and put in some of my daughters "LITTLEST PET SHOP" toys with the big heads.These work GREAT!!All of the kids now are very excited to play this because they can actually get something with the claw now!!We found that if we put in about 6 or 7 at a time that it is easier to get the claw to pick up the toys.Try this if your kids are not having much fun with this toy!!It worked for us!!
