Angry Birds: Birds in Space Game

The premise of the game is simple.Build a castle, put pigs on it and try to knock down using the included catapult and the angry birds.The game includes handy cards that show various configurations to build along with how many birds you have to try and knock it down.You draw a card, one player builds the other tries to knock it down.After the turn is over players switch roles.Sounds like it should be hours of fun right?Well no. The problem is that whoever designed this game did a horrible job of designing the building blocks.The pieces are horribly balanced and trying to build anything but a simple configuration is an exercise in frustration.The pieces are mostly slim with rectangular bases and as you build towers up, they get harder and harder to balance. Quiet often I found myself rebuilding things because the pieces kept falling down mid-build.Since you don't get points for building the castles, and the whole point of the game is to knock them down, shouldn't they be easier to build so you can get to the fun part fast?

Save your money and avoid yet another poorly executed cash-in on a brand name.

We gave this to my 6 year old for his birthday.He has the Angry Birds Knock on Wood game and loves it!This version is a total joke.The pieces are all warped with no flat edges.It's impossible to build the towers shown on the cards.Don't buy this!Stick with the original Knock on Wood version.

My son received 2 of these for his 5th birthday because they looked so cool!We were so excited to dig into this game and play together but unfortunately the design of the blocks make it impossible to build the required configuration of pigs to fly the birds at.My son still had fun making up some of his own rules because as a 5 year old, being creative is more fun.If you could actually stack the blocks, even if he couldn't exicute the game exactly as intended it would be a lot of fun.Unfortunately he destroyed the box upon opening and so I threw it away now sits the game, untouched.Very disappointed.

My son will soon be 7 and loves angry birds. wE RECEIVED THIS AROUND aUGUST 6th. He loves playing with this game.I like it because it requires dexterity and mental thought.It gets him away from the electronics and makes him think while he is having fun.I usually do not like games with lots of pieces but these are a good size and we haven't lost any yet.I keep it in the plastic form that came in the box.My dog ate the box really so I just slide it in a 2 gallon sized zipper bag works great!

We bought this in local store for $19.99, because my daughter is an Angry bird fan. This game was made of cheap, light-weighted material. It is almost impossible to stack the pieces as instructed. I have to keep stacking it for my daughter to break. She lost interests after 20 minutes, and never touched again since. Even at a low price of $6.99, it's not worthwhile.
