We do not have an Ikea store close by thus when I saw this chair thought it would be a great purchase to accommodate our little tikes table.This has become my childs favorite chair, she likes the high back and the feeling of being a big girl when she sats in it.It is extremely durable and has even held her father and I, which is not its intended use.My little one has used this as a stepping stool to reach high place that she should not be reaching, and the chair has withstood the daily ware and tear of a toddler.

Being made entirely of plastic, I was a little leery of ordering this chair for my overactive granddaughter.As it turns out, my worries were unnecessary, since the construction is more than adequate for rough-and-tumble service.It's light enough to be lugged around by a three-year old, yet extremely sturdy.Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

It wouldn't help if it could be a little stronger. The pieces all snap together. The back doesn't seem strong enough. It seems to be designed that the seat is on the larger side so the child doesn't put too much weight on the back of the chair.

The bottom half of the chair is fine. Note that the legs are hollow.
