I purchased this thinking that I can use it on a table surface. I was disappointed because the balls had no bounce and the pips are useless for any real game and cheaply made. They are also soft and the handle is small. I believe this item is really meant for small kids who are not introduced to ping pong yet.

I guess I shouldn't expect much for the price, but this really is just for small kids who don't need much and don't play hard. Even when I was tying the net to the posts, it started to pull apart from the edging.If you are planning to use this for older kids or teens, you should invest a little more money and get something sturdier so you don't have to keep replacing it.
