My baby boy got this bear several months ago as a gift and to be honest, I didn't think it looked like anything special, no more or less cute than any of our many other stuffed animals, but oh boy, does my son LOVE this bear.It must have to do with how understuffed and squishy it is (not full and firm like most stuffed animals) and the long arms and legs (good for holding onto the bear and dragging it around wherever he goes).He does not let go of this bear all day and just loves to hug and squeeze the bear up to his face.So far the bear is holding up to a lot of abuse but we'll see, I guess.I have washed it a couple times in the washer, which I'm not supposed to do, but it has held up fine.He sleeps with the bear, of course, and they give it to him at naptime during his Mom's day out program.He will take it to the park and drag it in the grass/leaves/dirt and try to climb the playground equipment with it and wants the bear while he's eating in his high chair or in the bath, so have to take a hard line and take it away or the poor bear would be a grimy disgusting mess.There is simply no comparison with any other stuffed animalthis guy is the BEST and most beloved.I have ordered a second one as backup in case this one gets lost or falls apart on us.

It's a Gund and glad quality keeps up. We love how soft this is and the stitching is durable. What we also love is the characterization of the bear if you review the proportion it's very cartoony: small body, big head, long arms and legs which makes it different from all the other teddies out there. Plus the crooked smile is an interesting detail!

This is a plushie keeper great as a first teddy that is quality, distinct and memorable.

My 2 yr old son has a box full of stuffed animals. But this is his favorite.It is small enough for little hands to hold. The fur piles and gathers lint. Bear loses its' shape and looks a bit flat now. A small hole is opening up where head attaches to body. Ends up looking like an old bear fast. But son hugs it every night and "talks with it". My 8 month old son kept reaching for it on d bed. I ordered another one in a different color for him. Now the bears are "brothers" too. It is just a regular bear. Nothing fancy. But appealing to little ones.

My 7 month old found this bear so silly he laughs whenever the bear peaks his head out of a box.The bear is so soft, it reminds me of a very soft blanket or pillow that he can hug to sleep.This is not a small bear, it is a little over a foot and has really long legs.I got one for a baby shower and it was a big hit!It has a retro look that reminded the mom to be of her own bear when she was a baby.
