My kids and I have played this game for years...they are now in their twenties and thirties and we still enjoy a cut throat game of wheeling and dealing now and then.We like it.

My wife and I are both 31. We played this game in the 80's when we were kids. We recently acquired this game and remembered why this game has such great memories attached to it.

Set up is simple, building is fun, money handling is easier than monopoly (a semi-comparable game) with max play time of around an hour. We play just the two of us and who is winning changes quickly. It'd be more fun with four people.

Pretending to be a hotel owner and welcoming someone to your hotel, who now has to roll the dice to see how much they pay you, is such hoot. Not to mention the hotels are Indian, Surfer, French, Japanese, and what ever the Boomerang is, is a lot of fun to imitate the accent. All in all a great game!

I received this game for Christmas when I was about 10 years old. Never-ending fun! I lost it about a year later when I left it at a day camp and have been looking for it ever since (I am not 31). I was surprised and excited to find it on Amazon, but sad that it's so expensive. I really think they only made this game that one year, so I guess I see the reason for such high cost. I really wish I could find one for cheaper to purchase. It is a great game.

...well not literaly, but I've spent hours on end playing this game!I grew up playing Hotels with my three older siblings and parents.The healthy competition and intense strategizing are some of my fondest memories from my youth.

Recently, I dusted off the old game and played it with some of my good friends (i.e. Harlan, Linda, Fabio, Jason).They were reluctant at first but after a few go arounds I couldn't keep them away.We ended up playing one game, than another, and before we knew 9 hours had gone by!This may sound strange but it felt as if our friendship had grown over that span.We still talk about that night.

Truly an amazing and enjoyable game.I recommend it for all.Do yourself a favor and buy this game and start forming your own everlasting memories!!
