This mat reminds you what game you're playing and protects the table at the same time. The smaller your table the better this mat will work for you because your tile holders will be on the mat instead of on the edge. It is incredible quality for the money and the colors are beautiful. I have the gold, but my friends have the green and blue and they're all beautiful. The only slight negative is when you mix the tiles they are more likely to flip over than without the mat, but don't let that stop you from purchasing it.

Ordered the yellow Mahjongg table cover to replace a worn green felt one.Even though it is a couple of inches shorter all around than my card table, it does not interfere with the placement of the playing card or tile racks.Color is easy on the eyes and the rack pushers and tiles move freely. My players liked it so much, they asked me to order 4 more.
