We bought this desk for our daughters 4th birthday.We were hesitant because of the stool. She seems to like the stool.We are thinking maybe a little chair from Ikea might work better.has lots of cubbys to store items.The side holders are a blessing to put work books in and make them more accessible.All in all I am very excited about this desk
