American Plastic Toy My Very Own Desk and Easel

We bought this for our 3 year old and it was too small for him. This was a surprise because i can't imagine any kid younger wanting to actually sit at a desk to use it. The top lid always falls off when you open it to get your supplies. Also, the space is extremely small and can fit only one small coloring book and maybe 10 crayons and thats it. The tab that holds paper in place barely works and has broken already. I don't recommend this desk.

We were shopping for a table and chairs set for our 18 month old boy.We couldn't decide whether to splurge and buy a really nice Pottery Barn type set, or one of the much cheaper sets at Babies R Us.We wanted something good but didn't want to spend more than necessary.

In the midst of our fussing over this, we came upon this set at a local secondhand store.It was 6.50 so we thought 'no problem'.It is quite a good purchase at that price.A decent little stool, and the desk doubles as an easel.The lid of the desk can also be removed so that you can store crayons/color books inside the desktop.Personally we have not chosen to make use of this feature because once the boy understands the desk lid can be removed, that's all he will do with it.

It is worth noting that the desk lid does not 'snap' into the base of the desk.It just nests loosely into it.So the desk surface rather easily looses itself from the desk base if you have a rowdy toddler.So far it hasn't been a problem for us and at the price we paid, we are ecstatic with the product.

Horrible desk & easel dont buy unless you get it for like $2.00 because that is all its worth. The lid comes off witht he easiest touch and the clip to hold the paper is horrible!

My daughter received this for her second birthday, its an absolute disaster and horrible excuse for a "safe" child's desk.

The TOP DOES NOT SECURE TO THE DESK UNLESS IN EASEL MODE, therefore it will never stay with the desk. My child and several other members of my family have accidently slipped and fallen because the top came off and ended up on the floor.

We unfortunately tossed this item out with the trash, please do yourselves a favor and avoid this disaster they call a desk. I had to give it one star or it wouldn't allow my review, this deserves NO STARS, IT IS DANGEROUS.

The desk is very cheap plastic that is flimsy. I do not recommend it. The top keeps sliding off even though its supposed to flip nicely.
