KidKraft Princess Dress Up Unit

Alright ,... I have always been satisfied with KidKraft items. Generally high quality and certainly durable.NOT so with this item!!!!!!

To save money every other screw has been replaced/designed with a dowel.Sounds ok right?well,..to save even more money the dowels are made of rolled recycled pulp,.... you guessed it,.... they are very fragile and WILL break during assembly.

Kidkraft customer service is awesome and replacement parts should be here in a few days..... no charge.

But you know as well as I that they are sending the same cheap parts ... which I may or may not break again. Soooo, now we have 70lbs of pink wood parts layed out on the floor that need to be repacked just to get them out of the way for a few days.

Which means I will be sending the whole mess right back to Amazon.

Save yourself the aggravation...... don't buy it.

We have had this for 2 years now!! It is still in perfect condition, and soooo cute!!! My daughter loves her princess station, and its awesome to store and organize all her princess stuff!!!! She has drawn on this, knocked into it etc, and its easy to wipe clean and awesome quality. Also a very pretty pink color, like a flat light pink. I have two baskets in there for her jewelry, etc. Would definitely recommend this.

This piece is darling, my only problem was that 2 of the pulls were broken when we received it.I have asked for replacement parts, and hopefully that will address this problem

So we received this in the mail today, me and my daughter was very excited! but as my husband started to put it together the pieces didn't seem to line up right, so after several attempts over flipping and turning pieces over we realized that two of the side pieces were exactly the same instead of being different, so my husband had to break out the drill and "get crafty". Very annoying. I really wanted to just send it back and get a new one but we are going out of town soon and I didn't want to deal with shipping so close to the holidays. I have never had this problem with anything else I have ever ordered off of Amazon or anywhere else for that matter so maybe it's just a fluke.
