Lipper International Child's Desk with Chalkboard Top and Chair Set

These little desks are a nice quality and were fairly simple to put together. My big problem with them is that they are barely big enough for my 6 year old. We purchased these for our school room in the house which will be utilized by our 3 boys. Our oldest is just shy of 6 years old and he is nearly too large for the desk. While the dimensions of the desk are provided in the description, one would expect that a child's desk would accommodate an 8, 9, or 10 year old. That is not the case unless you have smaller children. So nice little desks, but far too small.

Purchased two of this desk to create a homeschool room for our 6 and 9 year old children.Very impressed with the wood and easy assembly.Originally wanted the sister wood top version however this style was available for quick shipping (the other had a 3-4 weeks) and was a little less in cost.I was worried the chalkboard top would make them seem cheaper in appearance but it doesn't, I was surprised to see that it is actually a wood top with a chalkboard finish. As far as child size goes, they fit our children perfect and they are not very small or extra tall, just average 50 percentile. Our 9 year may only get one year out of his. Overall very happy with the desks and our children love them.

I purchased this product when my now 18month old daughter was about 14 months old.The intent was to provide her with a child friendly desk area to "color".The chair is lightweight so my daughter can move it easily and the desk is the perfect height.The color is reach and blends well with the surrounding furnishings in our home.I would definitely recommend this product to others.
