These balls came in a plain white box and none were damaged. However, you will find that some of these balls bounce a little funny (e.g. not a good bounce, tend to go off in a different direction). The majority are absolutely fine. However, for family play/recreational play this seems perfectly acceptable to me. Plus, I don't feel the need to root around for a lost ball (which, hey, has to be worth something). My 3 dogs rate them 3 stars because they do break easy, but they shouldn't be playing with them anyway.
You can not feel the seam with the fingers, better than stiga 1 star.However, the surface is rougher than stiga balls.They are also heavier than Stiga 1 star.Wonder what it will do to my Mark V rubber in the long run.
