It seems pretty sturdy and like it will last a long time. We're now using it to help him learn to write his letters and numbers and he's had a lot of fun trying to trace shapes too. Great learning tool for the little ones. My son is about to turn 3.
Purchased this for Christmas for my grandsons....3 1/2 and 1 1/2.They love it!Nice that its so portable.I would recommend it.I use this as a light box station during reading or math rotations.I used to have a large light table at my former school and over the years I have bought a lot of transparent manipulatives and transparencies.I purchased this to use in my classroom last summer and am just now reviewing it.The children love it and use it every day for reading or math.I have all kinds of great stuff to use with it that I purchased from Lakeshore years ago. I am glad to finally have a light boxwhich is portable, light weight and does not take up a lot of space like my old huge light table.I am waiting for a set of colorful translucent Magna Tiles to arrive from Amazon for use with the light box.......students will experiment with the Magna Tiles to learn about geometry and magnetism etc.I am looking forward to seeing what they do and listen to them as they talk to each other about their work at the light box.
