One of my godchildren saw this and wanted it for Christmas.I had my doubts as it seemed really pricey for a fairly simple toy.But the figures are wonderfully interesting and the boys play with them for hours, setting up scenarios, building play castles for them, etc.They play rough with them and so far all are intact.Yes, they play the bowling game with them, too.It has become a much beloved toy in the household.

We got this for our three-year old nephew who adores bowling to scatter them noisily across the table.He's not quite coordinated enough to set them up himself without some frustration, but an older sibling is nice enough to "set up the pins again" for him.In that respect, when he must play by himself with these, they probably do help improve his motor skills.And, the motivation is the satisfying clatter they make when knocked down!chuckleYou might not want to set up these sturdy fellows on your costly, scratch-prone dining table (and they are pretty tricky to set up on carpet).Otherwise, they seem to be great fun!

I purchased this toy for our son for a small bowling set.It is table top size, makes a nice crash that boys like to hear, and has lots of variety for just a ball and pins.He created different games to play with this set and enjoys playing with the pins as knights for his block castles.So basic of a toy that he had to use his imagination to play rather than be entertained by the toy.I gave it 3 stars for fun because if your child does not use his/her imagination, it is just a fancy table top wooden bowling set.

This game is too cute.My kids love to play it.The little pin figures are so detailed it is incredible.My daughter uses the pins to play dolls with as well as the bowling game.This is a great gift for any child boy or girl.
