We got this for my son and he loves it!It took a few minutes to understand the directions, but once he did he asks to play it all the time.It is a card game so there is thinking and strategy involved.I highly recommend it and bought it for birthday presents for all of our hockey loving friends.
i gave this as a gift for a 7 year old boy who plays hockey.his dad varied the rules a tad and apparently it is a big hit.great gift for a hockey player / lover.

I have not ordered this YET but will do so very soon. I was looking for a similar game that I once had but it was baseball... and all you needed was a deck of the baseball game cards and a piece of parer and a pencil. We made our own lineups(by position) and wrote down the line up on a hand made baseball scoresheet. You would flip a card and the outcome was determined by what position was up a bat. On a hand drawn field with scoreboard... We used pennies to track the position of the men on base and how many outs there were. When the last card was used... just reshuffle the deck, cut the cards, and continue playing until the last out of the game. We had years of fun with that baseball card game. This hockey game seems very simular so I'll give it a try. Say it with me people... "We don't need no stinking video games!"
