Very cute toy, but like the others, we couldn't get any bubbles to blow out of the dragonfly.Made for a very sad couple of kids when the new toy wouldn't work :(

I love the idea of this toy, but it really falls short in functionality. The dragon fly blower is adorable and the spinning wings are fun, but it doesn't blow bubbles very well. The bubble solution holder is shallow so that you can dip the dragonfly's mouth in, but it spills easily and isn't practical for pouring out unused bubble solution. The best part of this is that the bubble solution is tear-free.

Using the wand that came in the bottle, i was able to get bubbles.using the dragon fly, Nothing! after turning it backwards and blowing out the "wrong" side, i was able to 1 large bubble with alot of effort.my 3 year old was not able to get the bubble out and was very disappointed. he did like blowing it and getting the wings to turn but kept asking me how to make the bubble maker work. very sad.

update: got this to produce bubbles by crazy gluing a piece of foam (cut to a donut) to the bubble wand area and then gluing on a smaller wand (recycled from random left overs) . Needed the foam layer to get it all to stick together. the wands would not glue to each other without it (not enough surface area). It works now. Seems like alot to go through.
