We play cards with friends weekly, and throughout the years we have tried various card holders, including these, the triangle ones, the wooden trays, etc. By far, this is the preferred type. These hold the cards securely, are easy to load the cards into, and are comfortable to hold. The spring is strong, and I've broken the plastic from leaving it in my purse, but never the spring. And these don't seem to get loose after using them for awhile. If you try this one, you'll be happy. The only problem has been trying to keep some on hand, because our friends keep wanting to try and then keep them!
I bought these holders for my wife and they fell apart withing two weeks.I would not recommend them to anyone.
